  • This is interesting

The vocals are lightly synthesized unlike now day bands like Hocico, Amduscia, Psyclon Nine, God Module, or Dawn of Ashes make these fucking brutal awesome shit.

But Skinny Puppy actually uses talent in vocals :D

  • @JokerFarts That's because this is industrial not harsh EBM

  • @IndustrialMilitia yeah i hate how people call artists like Combichrist Psyclon Nine and those guys industrial (P9's last 2 records could be considered tho) Industrial is much more then the angry techno that those guys churn out

  • @hellchild65 Nothing like TG, SPK, NON, :W:, Leaether Strip, SP, KMFDM, and even Grendel to an extent. Aggrotech is not Industrial. Electro-Industrial is Industrial, Industrial Rock is Industrial, Power Noise is Industrial, but not Aggrotech.

  • this is my favorite song from sp, along wit pro-test. i wish their new stuff was more like this...i feel like they went a lil too experimental wit their latest album.

  • Holy shit, that took long enough. I heard this song four years ago and couldn't find it until now.

  • Compared to their earlier work this album comes across as a generic mess.

Cleanse, Fold And Manipulate = Classic Puppy.

  • this track is so fucking sick, i can hardly stand it <3

  • New skinny puppy sucks dick.

  • @vef444 you are a dicksucker. I listen everything

  • @zabthesandwich You suck.

  • Motherfucker , burn( great ) , what else? Skinny puppy /rules

  • I discovered Skinny Puppy through Repo. This song is kinda similar to "Zydrate Anatomy"

  • This band is great!

  • Did ogre ever find what he was looking for?

  • strange it doesnt sound like skinny puppy sounds more like a pretender but maybe its just me

  • don't eat stuff off the sidewalk, kids

  • @epicureus314159 what about smoking it??

  • its ironic you cant tell if it is L' as in the French 'THE or if it's IMM as in the word 'immortal'; in any case i've been a fan of skinny puppy from their beginning and i appreciate you putting this on here very much

  • !!!!

  • The best music , Skinny Puppy forever !

  • Pretty awesome; still prefer older. This sort of reminds of Sister Machine Gun

  • @Z14n0x*cough* Grammar lesson *cough*

  • @DjSickipedia *cough* I am not english and i never had english lessons in my life *cough*

  • Just Looking For A Zombie (>^_^)>

  • I got here from NIN.

Not sure which one I like better.

    Probably NIN.

    But this shit's still great.

  • @MyHomicidalRomance

    I love 'em both

  • I remember first hearing this song on a WoW PvP video back in 2006 I'm so glad I had the chance to enjoy such beast song.

  • 15 people aren't mortal..

  • @ballpeenbaby thats my new most favorite analogy.. get it.. ANALogy

  • its scary... to watch alone even if its daytime... it feels like theres something in your back...

  • LOL, Depeche Mode?? Psssh, That like comparing apples to dildoes.

  • @ballpeenbaby

    You great !!!!! Skinny rules

  • @Z14n0x They still play SP on my raido station :P

  • Timeless stuff, belongs to the most artistic stuff in that Genre !!

  • These guys were gods and all the projects they made before 'The Process' were awesome. Now they sound like they are trying to emulate something lost. Ogre and Key said S.P. died with Goettel. That was 1995. So if you like the new stuff, good for you. Keep paying them for their crap. Just thinkin out loud.

  • Radical Puppies Man.

  • Just looking for zombies

    Its hard to say

    Deep looking at baby

    To go away

Couldn't you take my head sauce?

    I don't know my watches

    Behind the hemage

    You're far away

  • @burnsy96 win XD

  • this band is defiantly blessed by the devil. NOT good.

  • @ballennick33 good because if they were blessed by your "god" then they would suck probably.

  • ive been doing cock pushups

  • @ballennick33 that is the most random thing iv ever read and i hate you for saying it

  • @ballennick33 YUCK!!!!!!!!!

  • @ballennick33

And you base this on what evidence.... oh wait none.

  • i think industrial like this is one of the few surviving genres that grew out of metal and don't suck, the only other one i can think of is folk metal

  • I will not make this a habit, and feel free to hit our page too, please check out our video if you get a chance to. We have no radio support for this music, and lets face it, you are not going to you tube to sponser us. hahahah.

    LONG LIVE THE PUPPY

    Sam

  • Anybody else think this would sound great as a stage music in Red Alert 2?

  • Not their best in my opinion, but that does not mean this is not genius..because it is!

  • I met these guys about 6 years ago. I worked at a gas station on tuscarora rez and they stopped and fueled up the tour bus on their way to canada. I feel dumb now because I never heard of them and they were like we skinny puppy and my reaction "who the hell is that"

  • This song always makes me think of wandering around the city, the near empty streets, the roar of the cars passing on the freeway way overhead on the ramps/bridges and the sounds of the train yard a mile or so away. It always makes me think of looking for the soul of the city calling for someone.

  • News flash......No-one gives a shit what bands you like. Ths isn't a "My music is better" pissing contest.

  • @Z14n0x Poor music? Music elitism is complete bullshit. Sure, I don't like alot of what plays on the radio either, but to discredit someone's music taste because you don't like it is arrogant and ignorant at best.

  • @Ranour

Love your comment man. Such mature comments are a scarce commodity here...

  • @Ranour I am actually saying that the kind of poor music is poor because it IS actually poor. Simple beats, anybody who had a bit of studies in music can do it. Pretty simple lyrics too. I am not saying thats bullshit, im simply telling what i think is poor and what i think is quality music, made by exceptionnal persons. Im sorry if you misunderstood my statement.

  • Skinny Puppy, Celldweller, Psyclon 9, The Samans, and Muffin Mayhem are definitely my top favorite Industrial artists....except for that last one...I made that band up.

  • @DILLUECA007 :wumpscut:

  • @DILLUECA007 Don't forget Velvet Acid Christ....

  • @DILLUECA007 I discovered Celldweller thanks to Dead Rising.

  • @DILLUECA007 WTF I HAVE BEEN LIED TO! This celdweller band you claim is industrial sounds more like mix between a nu metal band and a god damn boy band. Sad to see thats what people try to pass off as industrial.

  • @DILLUECA007 do not taint them with celldweller- they are a lame christian band - f them

  • @robotaholic ....... except Celldweller doesn't sing about Christianity.

  • @DILLUECA007 shit now I wanna go to a muffin mayhem concert

  • @EnergizerBunny804 Muffin Mayhem has to be my band's name now.

  • @DILLUECA007 what about Front Line Assembly?!

  • Wow, you know " Bill Leeb was membering " Skinny puppy" ?

But i think , they are the best Groups ever, bands are great ( sorry my english is terrible )

    Greetz , Alex

  • @DILLUECA007

Seems like I missunderstood something. So I just deleted my last comment ;)

Just....don't >>stop whatever you're doing. Atomic bomb!<< (Dependence on the song "Atomic Bomb" by "Eisenfunk" ;) )

  • @DILLUECA007 Mayhem is cool , but Dissecting tables "between live and death " ( Is the Album ) , this is real Industrial

    greetz, alex

  • Believe it or not, I heard this first time on a finnish youtubepoop video and I was instantly swept away.. Amazing stuff !

  • skinny puppy are my favorite band in the universe lol

  • Why don't all teenagers listen to this? I'm 15 going 16 in 8 months, and I'm pretty disappointed that I haven't found a guy or girl my age who listens to this music. l:

  • @HearTheFear13 - ....some do. Unfortunately it scares most of the parents, and they dont want their little darlings listening to it. Been listening to this since I was your age and my daughter (14) loves it, too. She shares links to good, underground or counterculture with her friends on Facebook-share it and open minds...

  • @TheSpudnic

check out COLUMBINE. there the fucking shit

  • @TheSpudnic Can I add Rammstein to that list, or is that a little too metal-ee?

  • @IJUSTLOVETURTLES Rammstein is industrial metal.

  • @DJCrabCake Rammstein is Neue Deutsche Harte, electronic + industrial metal. But it doesn't matter, I don't want to start talking about another band on an SP video.

  • @IJUSTLOVETURTLES "Neue Deutsche Harte" is actually a SUBGENRE of industrial metal... FYI. I agree, though; I'd rather not discuss this any further.

  • @TheSpudnic You think Gary Numan and Depeche Mode are "dark groups"?

  • @TheSpudnic Depeche Mode and Front Line Assembly in the same sentence...now that's just wrong, not to mention Depeche Mode and KMFDM.

  • @TheSpudnic Right on, Front Line Assembly. Check out Nine Inch Nails' album Pretty Hate Machine. It's something you may or may not like.

  • @TheSpudnic lol please don't put Depeche Mode in the same class as SP, KMFDM, and, Front Line Assembly! lol

  • @jmh1971 dude depeche mode is amazing

  • @TheSpudnic You would like Neuroticfish, too C:

  • My friend got me hooked on Skinny Puppy, i love most of their old stuff.

  • immortal and optimissed are the best tracks

  • fuck yeah i just bought this album, happy days.............hehe

  • Great music by Skinny Puppy this is from one of the best industrial albums too

  • Fuck you, this is why Canadian's rule the Industrial genre!

  • I always feel like wandering downtown when I listen to this, especially listening to the last minute.

  • @AbbaTheHutt i wont

  • This is my "sexy music."

  • Awesome song!

  • Sold out to sound like who? Who does this sound like? Name the band I will admit that they sold out. I don't see it.

    Sam

  • @samfrompasingtime The Village People

  • @gangurobitch That must be it, clearly.

  • Wow reading some of these comments just makes my head want to explode. If you like it listen to it. If you don't like it take your negative comments and fuck off,It's not for you. Go spend your negative energy elsewhere.

  • @Ranour Thank you for this post.

  • @AbbaTheHutt at the risk of sounding like a dick.... it's kind of the other way around. Orgy sounds like Skinny Puppy, just like Dope sounds like ministry although a bit diluted, imho...

  • @pizzlerandom

for kmfdm, id suggest anything before attak.

  • My biggest inspirations

    reverbnation. com/ jeremiahsaint

    my solo project

  • .

    i miss the old skinny.

    burnt with water.

    rodent.

    killing game.

    assimilate.

Yeah. They assimilated to shit commercialism.

    -.-

  • @EssedariusMaiestas lol this isnt anything close to being commercial buddy, just because they change to a more electro-industrial sound doesnt mean they sold out, they still hold most of their values, thats what matters, if someone gave Ogre 100 million to support animal testing on an internet ad, then THAT would be selling themselves.

  • .

    @hellchild65,

I guess I should be more...open minded. I am really trying to enjoy their new sound. Before it was an instant 'high' just listening to them.

    -.-

  • @EssedariusMaiestas Not everyone wants to be a starving artist, man.

  • Skinny Puppy influenced NIN and they are Gods!

  • wow... i just searched for music like the OST of resident evil... then i read its called industrial rock... and now i found that HOLY SHIT...

    WANT MORE OF THIS!!!

are there other bands with songs like this one???

  • @BohdieLotion

    Looking for Industrial Rock?

I can't really tell you any other bands that sound like this... But try Machines of Loving Grace, Nine Inch Nails(The Downward Spiral) and other bands like that. Both of those bands use sound similarily to Skinny Puppy.

Other bands too look at are Kfmdm and God Lives UnderWater. Hope you like those artists.

  • i think industrial is a safe genre to put them in seeing as its become almost as broad as the rock genre. Rammstien is considered industrial by some and they sound completly diffirent from Skinny puppy. But who cares genre's anyway.

  • Just lookin' for somethin'... Is what to say... Keep lookin' at nothin' to make this all go away.

  • fantazia

  • slovensko koecne super music

  • watch?v=1b2CtgkwJQA&feature=related

  • @morbidlyxyours: Really weird you'd bitch about MM not being "TR00 INDUSTRIAL" and then name Skinny Puppy as the absolutely perfect example of such music... I know of quite a few people who'd want to kick your ass for even suggesting that Skinny Puppy is 'industrial', the same genre as Throbbing Gristle or Clock DVA or Nurse with Wound, and refuse to give any valid arguments as to why; just like you are now, actually. Lol generational gap.

*Loves all the bands mentioned and doesn't care*

  • Can't compare it to "Too Dark Park" or any Goettel era albums. Still good, though-

  • Skinny Puppy are so amazing. Live, on cd, and ANY time. Sure, they have released a song or two that I can take or leave (Spahn Dirge is awful), but all in all they are one of the most important bands in music history. They changed how music is made, written, and delivered.

Check out BREAK ME on our site and comment.

    Sam

  • great stuff to listento and get lost in and even greater to fuck to

  • @mommahess66

LOL I bet your partner thinks so too

  • This song is bitchin'. :]

  • Is not 100% but is more like American Head Charge style.. And some of the INDUSTRIAL METAL (not Just INDUSTRIAL) components are shared. The look, the robotic and distorted voice, some samples, etc. Things are not linear. we just cant say that it is or is not tottally. but in some way i agree with you. one thing is for sure. By the way thaks for the references to the industrial scene. all here apreciate it for sure :)

    Ty

  • lol marilyn manson is just a media faggot

  • @BoyfromSevilla dont be so rude. Marylin is on the industrial side too.. just a more goth type. Skinny puppy rules.

  • @mpereirawolf

Marilyn Manson is NOT in ANY way industrial,

    and most certainly NOT goth!

Listen to Bauhaus, Sister of Mercy and Christian Death... THOSE are goth bands...

and... Skinny Puppy, this is the most perfect example of industrial

  • @morbidlyxyours sorry, but mechanical animals, the brilliant MM album is fairly industrial. don't hate it cause it's mainstream or good. unlike puppy.

  • @loknloll

If I hated music because it was mainstream, I wouldn't like Nine Inch Nails.

I don't like Manson because he rips off subcultures to impress the millions of mall goths who don't know what industrial, or goth music is.

Trust me, I've taken more musically talented shits than Manson's music

  • @morbidlyxyours manson is a talented fucker - it's simply wrong to deny that. i don't think you can choose your following; all those fuckin kids at the mall that don't know if they're hip hop or metal with MM oversized shirts - i don't care about any of that.

do i run out and buy everything he releases? no. but Mechanical Animals was absolutely brilliant, emotional, beautiful and smart, front to fucking back. and it was industrial. by definition. which was the original point.

  • @loknloll

    right.

tell a bunch of rivet heads that manson is industrial, and tell me how that goes.

  • @morbidlyxyours i'm sure it'd go over like a bag of hammers. but i wouldn't hesitate, because, by definition Mechanical Animals is an industrial album, as much as anything NIN has done. die hards, of course, won't like the commercial heights of MM, or the ''mall'' following.

let's put it this way. Mechanical Animals sells 175,000 copies, no one in middle america cares, the kids at the mall stick to hannah mon-fucking-tana or whatever.

it'd be the rivet head bible.

  • @loknloll

Please, explain to me what industrial is, by definition.

You're right, it is as Industrial as NIN, and NIN isn't industrial, either. They DO have industrial influence, but they are not industrial.

"let's put it this way. Mechanical Animals sells 175,000 copies, no one in middle america cares, the kids at the mall stick to hannah mon-fucking-tana or whatever.

it'd be the rivet head bible."

What does this have to do with anything

  • @morbidlyxyours what does it have to do with anything? it's the whole point of our conversation. you saying MM isn't industrial....

  • @morbidlyxyours Industrial music is a style of experimental music that draws on transgressive and provocative themes. The term was coined in the mid-1970s. In general, the style is harsh and challenging. The Allmusic website defines industrial as the "most abrasive and aggressive fusion of rock and electronic music"; "initially a blend of avant-garde electronics experiments (tape music, musique concrète, white noise, synthesizers, sequencers, etc.) and punk provocation".

    totally MM.

  • @loknloll You ignorant fucking moron, Marilyn Manson is not industrial in the least of the bit. Skinny Puppy has been one of the most influential bands for the industrial genre from the 80s until today. Manson is alternative rock with a few keyboards. Most definitely NOT industrial, even by your definition. Do you even know the term industrial came from? It was coined by the band Throbbing Gristle which has collaborated with Skinny Puppy on many occasions and has even made a whole compilation.

  • @diimoxy i know exactly where the term came from, throbbing gristle, mid 70's. don't call me an ignorant moron just because i'm stating a fact that you don't want to hear. manson is not alt rock with a few keyboards. he's industrial by definition.

you don't hear AC/DC fans getting all riled up because the Jonas Brothers are considered a rock band.

so shut the flying fuck up. it's closed minded cunts like you that make discussing music and life in youtube in general complete shit.

  • @loknloll Manson isn't industrial music, not even in the least aspect of the term. Case closed. now stfu

  • @diimoxy you want to shut the fuck up, actually. tell ya what, i live at 629 prinzengracht amsterdam, come and fuckin tell me to shut up. maybe with my fists i can explain to you what industrial is. let me know if i have to send your pussy fucking ass a plane ticket. you fucking low life internet loser. fucking bitch ass sperm eater.

case closed... ha fucking ha. more like your mom's baby factory is closed. totally defective. you whiny peace of shit.

  • @loknloll

You're cool, with your low level, trite insults.

Wow, threatening someone on the internet, you're quite the intimidating intellect.

Someone's irate since Marilyn Manson lacks any skill.

As he said, MM is NOT industrial. Case closed, now STFU.

Oh, and you can go ahead and threaten me too, now. I just hope it makes you feel better about yourself

  • @morbidlyxyours you're totally right, man. seriously. i got a little childish there....

  • @loknloll hahaha you're such a pussy. There's no telling that that is even your real address, and even if it was, who the hell said I would waste my time with such an imbecile? I wouldn't waste my time kicking your ass even if you lived next door. You're insults are so minuscule that they must measure up with the size of your dick, in great contrast with your pride and ignorance. Fool, you already got told, MM is not industrial. End of story. Btw, Germany sucks ass.

  • @diimoxy

    Wow, really?

  • @diimoxy You shouldn't argue about who is who and what is what, in the end, do "goths" consider MM industrial? No

Now aside from the above that i just posted, that too shouldn't matter, i mean if it's good music then it's good and who gives a shit about what genre is? Will it provide you food? Will it give you money ? WIll it give you time? Nope you're just wating it..... k bai

  • @loknloll You shouldn't argue about who is who and what is what, in the end, do "goths" consider MM industrial? No

Now aside from the above that i just posted, that too shouldn't matter, i mean if it's good music then it's good and who gives a shit about what genre is? Will it provide you food? Will it give you money ? WIll it give you time? Nope you're just wating it..... k bai

  • @Jekkoify basically i didn't agree with the people here who love industrial, and are embarrassed by it's more commercial component. to the degree that they want to deny it, and it's inclusion in said genre. but as you've indicated, it is a bit of a time waster, not really anything to get into infantile discourse over. but it seems that happens alot on youtube, whether you want to or not. you can get flamed by 25 different users, for inocuous yet factual commentary...

  • @morbidlyxyours dude you make THE most sense in this thread!!!! Marilyn Manson is weightless and insignificant....and pretty much much a thing of the past now. He would admit that himself! Skinny Puppy defines industrial music and remains the absolute king of this genre. I am in hope of another release soon after their European tour!

  • Kick ass song!

  • as I'm clicking all the Skinny Puppy videos this song is my fav. so far.

  • @g0dlike308 : The Album all in all yes, but not that only song. I love it.

  • Really wish they would have finished this song, instead of the can of quit opened at 2:49.

  • This Song Is Kind Of Linkin Parkish And Marilyn Manson. Or Is It Just Me?? I Love Skinny Puppy My Parents Were Listening To Them Before I Was Born [x

  • @LovePeaceNHelloKitty Not even close to marilyn manson or linkin park.

  • @xfictionalx

OK I've heard Manson called "industrial" before but LINKIN PARK?? IS THAT SOME KIND OF JOKE???

  • @LovePeaceNHelloKitty It's more accurate to say that Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson are Skinny Puppy-ish ;-) And even then only vaguely.

  • @psykosis69..True 2 that u r right

  • More songs need to sound like THIS!

  • The beggining sounds so familiar... Any songs that sound alike to the intro of this?

  • @AbortionSunshine524

YEAH!! I feel the same way, it sounds so familiar!

  • @AbortionSunshine524 Try the prodigy :3

  • I love Skinny Puppy o.o

My Dad showed them to me... x]

  • This is a sick song, and definitely one of my all time faves as a song, let alone a Skinny Puppy song.

  • bad ass

  • my favorite skinny puppy song
