for stills buy a digital SLR i use a canon 300d and for video get a 300-400$ DV camera and any computer is good, And I advise you using After effects or Vegas.

For Windows, Once you get the .MP4 file from the link in the description, you will have to get:

"Pazera Free MP4 to AVI Converter"

to convert the .mp4 to .AVI

using "H.264/MPEG-4 AVC" codec to be able to green screen properly.

"CineGobsKeyer" can import the video.

I believe the new iMovie 09 now does have keying feature. As long as its 08 or over, it should have keying. I don't think that iMovie HD had it.
