I have a black Atheist friend who finds it silly how scientists are reluctant to portray an African alongside Chimps, Bonobos and Orangutans out of fear of political correctness. We are ALL African at our core. Caucasians simply look different from native Africans because they evolved within the Caucus mountains. Lighter skin from less sun. Thin noses and lips were better suited for the cold because they wouldn't freeze as easily. Asian eyes were better in the harsh desert winds and sun etc.

Why are all other of the great apes stuck at the level of a 2-3 year old human child in terms of intelligence while we're leaps and bounds ahead? @03chrisv The reason other apes have not evolved the intelligence that humans posses is because they did not need such a big intelligence to survive in their environment. Animals don't just evolve in one direction, eg less intelligent to more intelligent. It all depends on whether that specific adaptation has a survival value. Keep in mind all other human species (Neanderthals, erectus, ect.) have all gone extinct despite being hundreds of times more intelligent than modern living apes.
Evolution doesn't progress towards a goal. Intelligence isn't the end point of some evolutionary chain. Only adaptability matters and the other great apes survived well without the same level of intelligence as humans. But don't forget all the other hominids like Neanderthals, Habilis, Erectus, that evolved intelligence, too. They didn't survive and the other apes did. So intelligence is not the end-all be-all of evolution.

The advantage of being able to carry home food to feed a family made walking on two legs a big advantage. The word theory in science doesn’t mean the same as in general use. We have the Theory of Gravity and Atomic Theory yet these as you know are accepted facts. The existence of unicorns doesn’t have to be disproved, unicorns have to be proved to exist. Claims are easy to make but they mean nothing if there isn’t a single fact to support them. The genome shows humans and apes are almost identical. The closer an ape is to its relationship with humans the closer the genome.

Some strains simply become resistent to certain vaccines due to a slight re-organizing in its genetic code (not gaining new info). However those "evolved" strains can revert back to their prior genetic assembly or "de-evolve". There is only so much an organism can change due to a brick wall called genetic homestatsis. @renegadekav Evolution is part of adaptation. Adaptation is a general concept. We needed to adapt more to survive than the great apes. Science is constantly changing for the better so that we may provide answers to the unknown and create cures for diseases.
Faith has two meanings. One being that it is the strong belief in a religion based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. You may want to look into evidence rather that faith.

A scientific theory has been tested, often many times (in many ways) by many different people, and observations have been consistently verified. Scientific theories are also reviewed by peers to make sure that scientists are accurately reporting their results and that their experiments are conducted using scientifically valid methods.

Why fabricate an answer (god) with no proof? Not every answer to everything is found. They are still searching. There is no proof that a god created anything. If there were a designer who created Earth for humans, what would be the point of creating other planets, stars, and galaxies (especially since we are on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy)? @03chrisv The reason other apes have not evolved the intelligence that humans posses is because they did not need such a big intelligence to survive in their environment. Animals don't just evolve in one direction, eg less intelligent to more intelligent. It all depends on whether that specific adaptation has a survival value. Keep in mind all other human species (Neanderthals, erectus, ect.) have all gone extinct despite being hundreds of times more intelligent than modern living apes.

Evolution doesn't progress towards a goal. Intelligence isn't the end point of some evolutionary chain. Only adaptability matters and the other great apes survived well without the same level of intelligence as humans. But don't forget all the other hominids like Neanderthals, Habilis, Erectus, that evolved intelligence, too. They didn't survive and the other apes did. So intelligence is not the end-all be-all of evolution.

We can show that Noah’s Ark is impossible. @renegadekav The trade off for walking on hind legs was less dense bones and a weaker body generally. The advantage of being able to carry home food to feed a family made walking on two legs a big advantage. The word theory in science doesn’t mean the same as in general use. We have the Theory of Gravity and Atomic Theory yet these as you know are accepted facts. The only people challenging evolution are creationists and they do it without any science at all and have a motive.

Christians have a higher divorce rate, more teen pregnancies, are more likely to commit crimes and be imprisoned than atheists. Atheists are approx. 15% of the general US population but less than 0.5% of the prison population.

Some strains simply become resistent to certain vaccines due to a slight re-organizing in its genetic code (not gaining new info). @renegadekav Evolution is part of adaptation. Adaptation is a general concept. We needed to adapt more to survive than the great apes. Science is constantly changing for the better so that we may provide answers to the unknown and create cures for diseases.
Faith has two meanings. One being that it is the strong belief in a religion based on spiritual conviction rather than proof. You may want to look into evidence rather that faith.

A scientific theory has been tested, often many times (in many ways) by many different people, and observations have been consistently verified. Scientific theories are also reviewed by peers to make sure that scientists are accurately reporting their results and that their experiments are conducted using scientifically valid methods.

@Rebellion57 what im really getting at is neither side can claim to have THE answer to eachother cause neither side either fully understands or can fully explain and fill in whatever gaps and questions the other side has.just an understanding on where humanity stands is all I want from those who claim to have a mind worth picking or be an intellectual by any measure.claiming its dumb not to believe in God isn't going to accomplish anything and is not how you coexist,right?

@renegadekav I don't have all the answers. I'm no expert of the cosmos or biology. Look up peer-reviewed articles to help you learn about the answers you seek.
If there were a designer who created Earth for humans, what would be the point of creating other planets, stars, and galaxies (especially since we are on a collision course with the Andromeda galaxy)? Why would those have been created? There is nothing that controls or created gravity or other forces. They have always been.

Religion causes wars/genocides (Crusades, Holocaust, and Thirty Years' War to name a few), hinders gain of knowledge (the Dark Ages), and abolishes rights (women, homosexuals, and blacks). What has science (atheist way of life) done for the world? New technological advancements (computers, space exploration, etc), knowledge of the unknown (big bang, evolution), and modern medicine.
People may see what they want to see, but that doesn't change fact.

If it weren't for the Dark Ages hinderance of knowledge (caused by religion), this world would be far more technologically advanced.

Like I said, before you make a claim that a god created anything, you must provide evidence for the claim that god exists. I have nothing to prove. The burden of proof is on the theist.
