That was a really great cover. Ah, probably Leonard Cohen's best song. I was obsessed with it a few years ago. Tracking down every cover of it I could find (pre- youtube)..My favorite ended up being Gavin Degraw's live performance from (I think?) Last Call with Carson Daly. 'cept God would have used a less sensative mic... but to capture the emotional ebb and flowing of a scathing vocal in the wake of a tender whisper.... that's what makes it so profound... well done AD.
