  • I can do that too...... i just dont want to right now.

  • he looks like a grizzly...beast!!!!!

  • he looks like a grizzly...beast!!!!!

  • unREAL...wow..

  • stop being so mean to bob, goodness he can have his own opinion without being bombarded by total asshole twats. and i'm only talking about the ones insulting him. now he is just ignorant of the great things about the deadlift and he will hopefully learn. but don't insult the man.

  • do the research, there is no conclusive evidence that steroids damage any persons health more than anyone person's. Think of it like medication, to much of any medication can be a bad thing

  • @SaraAnne01 its so refreshing to see a comment like yours on these powerlifting videos, i hate when people try to take away from these guys accomplishments by speaking ignorantly of steroids.

  • @SaraAnne01 You kidding me? There are PLENTY of researches showing that steroids are BAD for your body

  • @Fischmedia true, however I can show you plenty of studies that can prove that tylenol is bad for you as well. Remember that the key component of my comment was that to much of ANY medication can be bad for you.

  • Wake up crack heads! Worship your drug addicts in private! This goon is juiced to maximum toxic levels!

  • @soybean70 shut the fuck up you unlifting fuck

  • @soybean70 just a little guy

  • stongest back in the world? I definetely think he is AT LEAST in that category if it is up for debate.

  • What is the guy shouting at the start of all the deadlift videos? It pumps me up more than anything in English haha.

  • You know that you are doing it right when the bar bends like that

  • @soybean70 you are fucking idiot, so if he uses steroids? it is his choice and I bet on my balls that he is healthier even with those steroids than you will ever be you lazy faggot.

  • @soybean70

Go eat some more soy and when you die 30 years before your time because of low T after having a terrible quality of life for the 30 years before that, remember this comment.

  • @soybean70 Id rather live 40 awesome years and leave my mark on the world than 70 shitty ones where no one remembers me

  • @MrJervilla noone will remember u anyway juice monkey fking junkie

  • @Stoksie01 more than u cocksucker

  • I do this every morning right after i've gotten out of bed.. Just with more weight, and i lift with my mouth, while standing on one leg, on my toes. ...Or maybe not.. Fucking impressive lift!!! You gotta wonder how the human body can manage to lift something like that..

  • Shit, my back would be breaking bad if i tried this.

  • Give the man probs he deserve @ (11) fucking haters!

  • i wouldnt like to shake his hand

  • @Og3990 today he punchet me.firstly in face then in my stomach and I say he's only strong, nothing technic

  • Ok, this guy is a monster, but how the heck did he deadlift without even lifting his chest up and chin at least horizonal so as to having a flat back and core? I have never seen anyone else successfully deadlift so much from a "foetal position"!

It must have put ENORMOUS stress on his mid-back. If anyone else attempted this near the max limit of their strength, they would rip the small stabilizer muscles in their spine and likely suffer a spinal disc herniation.

    There really are genetic freaks

  • Is deadlifting a helpful exercise for shotput? I would think no since there are alot of exercies that you can do that are better... any thoughts?

  • @linkjmf There are four basic strength exercises that are useful for ALL exercise: deadlift, squat, bench (or dips), pullups. The reason they work for all exercise is because they are compound and dynamic. This means they involve many muscles at the same time and require coordination. There is nothing more effective for general strength, other than gymnastics.

For shotput, you need rotational strength and explosiveness. So, core work (esp. obliques + plank) and plyometrics for shoulders & legs.

  • @utubesqueeze well im not a rotational thrower. I'm a glider. What kind of plyometrics should i be doing? Im on stronglifts 5x5 if you know what that is. Also i do cleans and snatches.

  • @linkjmf I'm a glider as well, here's my routine: Bench: Warm-ups 7 sets of 3, and if you're feeling good that day, go for a high weight single. Deadlift: Deadlifts are good for all around strength. 7 sets of 3 with warmups, obviously. Squat: This is ESSENTIAL to be a great glider. You need leg strength period. Warm-ups. 1 set of 7 1 set of 5 3 sets of 3 1 heavy single. Works for me. And then finally, power clean and jerk. The power clean and jerk will help you more than the squat
  • The key lifts for shotput are the bench and the clean and jerk. The squat and deadlift will give you an advantage over other lifters, but if you're cut for time and can't get in the weight room for very long, just do power clean and jerks and bench.

Oh, and you can never do enough power clean and jerks. Do power clean and jerks until you can no more do power clean and jerks.

  • One strong man... kudos

  • @dan7edan7e shut the fuck up nigga i aint suck your dick but your bitch sucked mine straight to the neck from the bottle

  • thats gotta be a raw world record... thats nuts

  • @brudds You are partly right. 1) Yes, this guy holds the RAW WR 2) Its 430kg actually =D - see his other vids

  • Whats even more impressive he did this in a full meet.

  • I have to shake my head at all the ignorance surrounding deadlifts. It's an awesome exercise, and it's a shame that so many people are spreading misinformation about it.

It's one of the most efficient strength/size builders known to man, and is perfectly safe if done correctly - especially compared to Crossfit's excuses for pullups and power cleans, usually done by amateurs being taught by other amateurs.

And raw is the only way to do it. Straps and belts limit growth and potential.

  • i could do that too if i took roids

  • @GrandWizad

than take roids, get your lazy fatass away from the computer and FULLY dedicate yourself to something for once in your life

  • @GrandWizad no you couldnt. Its easy to say that, but you couldnt. There is no way but to proof it. So video or it didnt happen -> stfu.

  • @GrandWizad you could suck my dick anyday if I wanted to make you do it

  • Dāmas un Kungi, applausi.

  • guys he's obviously a robot from the future, sent here to protect John Connor, so that he can save us all from the robot uprise, after judgement day.

  • This guy is completely awe inspiring. His grip alone is fu king beast. He lifts 910 and holds it like it's nothing for a good 5 - 10~ seconds. I'd hate to shake his hand. I'd be like that guy from Futurama with bone-itis.

  • no belt!!! very impressive

  • That's pretty sick to be w/o belt.

  • That's what having a strong core allows you to do.

  • Baltic Candles LTD! We sponsor strong men!

  • This guy is a beast. Total respect. But I can't think of a more dangerous, retarded, and frightening exercise than the deadlift.

  • @BobTheBuilder378 That's probably why you should leave the DL to people with balls.

  • @BobTheBuilder378 Funny I cannot think of a more safe, beneficial and fun exercise than the deadlift. I deadlift 3 times a week.

  • @BobTheBuilder378 you are probably a very weak person. You have been brainwashed then. Enjoy the remainder of your existence as a vag.

  • @BobTheBuilder378 Dangerous, retarded, and frightening? I have had no back pain since I began deadlifting regularly. Prior to starting, I had back aches from jogging, lifting light boxes, and doing outdoors work. My posture has also improved drastically. It's a great exercise for strengthening your entire back and core. Just study the form initially and don't let your ego convince you to pile on the weight too soon.

  • @Vincenzo51985 I agree deadlifting and working out the back without a belt is the best thing anybody can do.....this is coming from a guy with Scoliosis and almost a 15 degree curve in my spine :)....hard work pays off though and this guy is a beast

  • @Vincenzo51985

y, lol, I have exactly the same, now that I think about it.

  • @Vincenzo51985 I couldn't agree more. Had back problems for about 10 years and would shit myself at the very idea of deadlifting. I had tried occasionally, but 50kg were enough to give me pain. One day I thought to myself: "What if you've been a dick and the pain is due to poor form and actual lack of strength of your lower back?". I then started training my abs more and deadlifting with good form. After six months (no joke) I could lift 180kg without any problem...

  • @BobTheBuilder378 there's no reason to live if you can't do the deadlift , you retarded faggot

  • @sdfefde This is no haul for Jon Pall...lol

  • he's actually a russian living @ latvia.

  • WAY THE FUK NO BELT WAT THE FUUUJKKKKK

  • his deadlift form is amazing! It looks like he coils himself down into a loaded spring and then releases, driving with his legs and then his back...great to watch.

  • the fool is that one who didn't like this video :)

  • shit i was like dont strip!!

  • Monster srength

  • straps r for women... incredible lift

  • @MegaGlennbeck who uses straps? haha.

  • how tall is he or could someone give me an estimation?

  • @XxRTGxX KK is 6'5. He's a solid ass Latvian monster.

  • this is beyond ridiculous

  • man he's a FUCKING BEAST!

  • As seen on Crossfit Discussion Board

    lol

  • thats what happens when you piss off russians

  • ESSE AI É DOPADO OU MUTANTE IMPOSSIVÉL!!!

  • Вот это да!

  • wow he is hard core!

  • no belt and a singlet? incredible bro...!

  • This is a Monster Ironmam

  • what kind of shoes is he using?

  • @mrlatino187 they are konstantinov shoes

  • I can do that, over the internet

  • thats just a pissed off bowling ball if you ask me. lol

  • A fucking tank!!!!

  • Kurwa prze chuj bez pasa ^^

  • they lift from their back? i lift with my legs and keep my back straight...

  • @radersmaa Are you doing sumo style?..if you are doing that conventional style like this you might want to rethink your technique..unless you are pulling over 500 lbs, then I apologize

  • WIHTOUT EVEN A FUCKING BELT?!!?

I could barely pull 455 with a belt. This guy's core (legs and back too, duh) are unfathomably powerful.

  • @lyzedpara your 16 and all thats on your page is video games?...you cant pull anything except someones dick u queer

  • @joshmaher93 So what you are saying is that someone who likes videogames cant be strong? Im 16 myself and enjoy videogames, I have also trained for 1 year and can do 180kg deadlift. Yet you are 18 years old and do 160kg? Nub...

  • @MrTwixiz put up a vid faggot

  • @MrTwixiz and btw are u a retard by any chance because you obviously no i can go onto your channel...your 26 and a fucking thick dont bother writing back idiot

  • @joshmaher93 I am 26? haha, and calling me retard dont make you smarter, you dont have any good arguments and frankly, I think you are rather dumb. But have nice day lifting lightweights baby ;*

  • @MrTwixiz so your not a retard yet you dont know your own age? ... you queer fuck

  • @joshmaher93 I do know my own age obviously, which is 16. I think I would know that better than you, and since you are using "queer" as a curse word tells me that you sadly suffer from low IQ, I feel sorry for you mate.

  • @MrTwixiz so you do know your own age but you just dont know how to type it? ... according to your profile your 26 and by the way your acting most likely a retard

  • @joshmaher93 You have to be 18 to watch some of the videos on youtube, which is why I created the account in the first place, thats why it says 26. And how exactly does a retard act, because I dont really knoww what I do, that can be misunderstood to be retarded behavior, but again, that may be your lack of intellegence that makes you get the wrong ideas. You better be good at lifting when you get older, for you sure hell aint gonna get far with that brain of yours! :D

  • That guy is the definition of beast

  • без пояса, или мне показалось??

  • How come there is no footage of this Benedikt guys "raw 1015". ?????

  • @jerdawg53 he does 1100 with a belt and straps, no suit.

  • @jerdawg53 There is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jerdawg53 there is you just did not bother looking

  • i wonder what he'd get geared with a belt

  • @ako541 he did 948 geared with a belt

  • @JimmyD0YLE thanks dude, suppose gear doesn't have as much carry over to deadlifts because of grip and that , this man is an absolute monster though !!!!

  • Hossiean Rezazada back squats more than 440kg... jus sayin.

  • @zacharyninja1 since when?

  • Benedikt Magnusson ALL-TIME HEAVIEST RAW DEADLIFT (1015 POUNDS).

  • best deadlifter in the world

  • @therock4730 Konstantin is great. Do you think he's a better Deadlifter than Benedikt??? I'd have to say the best Deadlifter walking planet Earth is Benedikt Magnusson. Just saying...

  • @TheLastPowerlifter Well i agree with you that benedikt is an amazing deadlifter. But i would be interested to see them go head to head in the same weight class without a belt. I have to say, my money would be on Kostantinovs every day of the week under those circumstances!

  • @Cmac1000rr which weight class??? 275 like KK or Superheavy like Bene??? it's all hypothetical. meaningless. what matters is the weight. and Bene has the world record. And if we want to get hypothetical I believe Bene could get down to KK's weight class and with time, beat him. Cause Bene is 27 yrs old and KK is 33 or 34 now. There's always someone stronger; or at least there always will be...

  • @TheLastPowerlifter Hmmm for any other lift i would have to disagree with you,but since we are talking about the deadlift where losing weight can actually help your leverages, i will have to say in the end we probably will never see them compete head to head in the same weight class as amazing as that would be. So on this point i would like to agree to disagree

  • @Cmac1000rr so KK should lose more weight and then he could deadlift more.

  • @TheLastPowerlifter Benni is not getting down to 275 or 308 for that matter lol... and KK's best pull was at 275.

  • @benchfordeath Benni is a giant at 380lbs. 275 and 308 are for the little guys. Benni is the King of the Deadlift.

  • @benchfordeath KK wil never outpull Benni for any matter...

  • This guy must have a good chance of breaking Andy Bolton's record of 457

  • @dippydog Well Andy Bolton's 457 is no longer a record since Benedikt Magnusson lifted 460kg just using belt T-shirt and shorts last weekend.

  • @dippydog

Well Andy Bolton's 457 is no longer a record since Benedikt Magnusson lifted 460kg just using belt T-shirt and shorts last weekend.

  • PPL complaining about bad form = fuckin useless geeks. You dont know shit, not a fuckin clue of what weight training is. None of you ever deadlifted 250kg, 99% never did or would do 200kg. If you are interested in why he curves his upper back and shrugs the shoulders inwards - read up on his technique and learn some basic physics. Then come back with a backed up opinion. NOT "Oh I cant look at this bad form. but my own best deadlift is 125kg"

  • @dan7edan7e I agree with you, the form is pretty good, like you say, deadlifting is easy to watch but hard to do, especially with 426 on the bar.

  • Powerlifting like this should be an Olympic sport. Raw lifting must be the rule. It is awe inspiring for me to see a champion like Konstantinovs reach the pinnacle of human power out of sheer determination. Everyone young man in the world who has ever lifted a weight should be inspired by this. With so many people in hundreds of countries of the world benching, squatting and deadlifting, it is a shame that the Olympics do not have such a pure strength event. It would be awesome, indeed.

  • No belt, no wraps, no suit... That is the RAWEST lift on youtube.

  • Some people just have backs that round... I don't think it harms everyone as long as you try to keep the posterior chain tight.. I could be wrong though, I try my best to keep my back straight.

  • so basically im kinda concerned for this guys body, and by kinda concerned i mean very concerned

  • Oh jesus, that form... My back hurt just watching his round like that.

  • @avivsworld lol hope this was a joke comment.

  • @avivsworld You know how I know that you've never done a max lift?

  • @avivsworld His upper back rounds. This is the technique pretty much any really heavy puller uses.

  • thats pretty damn amazing... how the fuck is this not a world record?

  • @stinkychickentitty someone just pulled 1015 raw. thats why

  • @JimmyD0YLE

Benedikt Magnusson pulled 1015 with a belt at 381 pounds bodyweight. KK pulled 939 at 281 pounds with no belt.

  • @JimmyD0YLE really? thats brutally hardcore!! the biggest deadlift i can find on youtube WITH a suit is 1100lbs

  • mad strength!

  • Wow! Crazy!

  • FUCKING HELL!!

Major respect. Go raw or go home!

  • sorry for not knowing what suits are like! i man the fuck up and use nothing! x

  • @HazardJimmy That's nice dear.

  • That's raw all day long. It's OBVIOUSLY not a DL suit; it's a singlet. A singlet offers no more support than a t-shirt and shirts would. Why do you think he pinches it with his fingers and then pulls it down? He's showing you that it's just a singlet.

Some of you people are dense as bricks.

  • @TheUnbreakableOne Also showing that he doesn't have a belt hiden under the singlet.

  • imagine the chicks this guys bangs. they wouldn't be able to walk properly for a week

  • @greasy220 his dick is the size of a peanut...

  • @greasy22 his dick is too small to bangs chicks

  • @karakondzula2 Your mother didn't complain when he banged her!

  • @amarone1956 your mother is dead now because i banged her

  • @karakondzula2 Ha ha Lololol, that's so funny coming from a stupid fuck who sits around on the computer all day. Get a life and some balls becuase you will never come half as close to what he's accomplished.

  • @jdog942 suck my dick you feg

  • @greasy220 no, they would be dead!!! lol

  • @greasy220 its depends

  • definately not raw if he's wearing a belt but still strong as fuck! x

  • @HazardJimmy He isn't wearing a belt.

  • @cloystreng sorry mate i meant a suit,, it's not raw cause he's in a suit x

  • @HazardJimmy I think its just a singlet, not a deadlift suit.

  • @cloystreng might be but im pretty sure it is a suit x

  • @HazardJimmy

    its not a suit

  • @HazardJimmy You can wear a belt in raw, just not a dead lift suit, wraps or anything like that.

  • @wayofaway sorry mate i meant a suit,, it's not raw cause he's in a suit x

  • @HazardJimmy i m out of vocabulary to describe your degree of stupidity

  • He is not in a suit idiot

  • @Ludichris8531 Having seen the poorly planned NFL training programs and watched them train with horrendous form, your reference to NFL coaches is useless. The bench press is done because A) It is a subjective measure of strength as it is widely popular B) It carries less risk of specific-sport injury as an injury to the lower back will put out a player where as a tricep tear will not necessarily C) It can be cheated extensively which brings back to the popularity mentioned in point a) .Simple

  • Cheated extensively? ANY exercise can be cheated extensively. And my comment was in response to someone ELSE'S comment wherein they claimed that many NFL strength coaches were replacing the bench press with the clean and press as an overall test of upper body strength...and so I explained the clean and press isn't an upper body movement, it's a total body movement and that no NFL strength coaches have stopped having their players perform the bench press. read next time. simple.

  • Functional (or functionality thereof) is a loosely tossed term, which has been in vogue by so called pseudo-experts who want to differentiate themselves from the main training programs fopr both average joes and athletes. Without defining functionality, it is stupid to argue about what is functional or not. Many times it is also confused with specifity.

  • Go join a boxing gym and after a month tell me how sore your chest is compared to your upper back, hips, and hamstrings. Your deltoids are used in punching, sure- but every technically sound boxer uses hips and footwork in every punch. Ironic you chose Ali as an example- he's a prime example of the importance of footwork. The bench press is used to balance the development of the back and to teach you how to coordinate a large percentage of muscle fibers at the same time- that's all.

  • I'm talking about Ali's PUNCHING mechanics. please watch them again. A very large amount of his punches come with minimal momentum created from stepping into his punches and only a little bit of torso rotation. He also had a unique style of beginning his punches with his arms rather wide out to his sides at times, that uses almost entirely chest power and speed.

  • @Ludichris8531 less than 20% of a fighters punching power comes from upper body strength, the rest is all legs, hips and core. power comes from the floor. you push with the legs drive the hip through and rotate your upper body using your core muscles. the arms are just there to transmit the force generated by the rest of the body to the opponent.

the squat, the snatch, clean and jerk, deadlift are all far better exercises to improve punching power.

  • in latvia, barbell lifts you

  • Give Konstantinovs the lifting suit, and he could easily surpass Andy Bolton or Benedikt Magnusson anyday.

  • @HalifaxHercules no he doesn't

  • Actually- the chest does very little in regards to punching. If thrown properly- it's initiated with footwork and accelerated with the hips and back. The pull of the back "snaps" the punch and that's where power comes from. It has little to do with the chest. If you don't believe me just check out the physique of any modern boxer from Mayweather, jr. to Manny Pacquiao and take note of the relatively limited chest development. Aside from football, the bench press is pretty useless. The main qual

  • Comment removed

  • And you think the bench press is useless outside of football, then your knowledge of major sports is quite limited. Of course big punches originate in the legs, but as the pectorals, front deltoids, and triceps are the muscles that bring the shoulder forward and extend the arm during the punching motion, you'll find that having a weak chest, shoulder, and triceps muscles is not a good idea for punching power. Punching mechanics AND muscular power are responsible for punching power.

  • @Ludichris8531 The main benefit to the bench press is to balance the back development of athletes AND to teach them how to activate large groups of muscle fibers at the same time. That's all. If you want to develop the triceps and front delts, everything from a dip to push press will do the job. Not only that, they will do it in relationship to the legs- the prime movers of the body. And you're right about muscle power and punching mechanics relating to punching power if you mean legs and back.

  • No, the main benefit of bench press is to train the muscles involved. The pectorals bring the shoulder forward, the front delts raise the arm and the triceps extend the arm forward. The truly powerful heavyweight boxers of the last 20 years have incredible upper body strength. A weak upper body will not help you much if you step in the ring with one of them. Of course legs and back are important, but they're only the beginning of the movement, not all of it.
