I have played around with the measurements of this model because I did not have paper big enough. For the more common size of origami paper it is 15 x 15 cm cut it to be about 5cm x 12.7cm (5in x 2in). Follow the instructions but do it on a smaller scale by making the folds not as big. I will put up a video on my channel soon. I hope this helps.
Yeah its hard to follow because of the camera angle. Try to hold the paper up after each step and/or point to what you are doing next before actually folding. It would help a lot.
Have just made my first Kimono embellishment for a card. It looks great so have designed paper to make more. Once dried it will be all systems go to make a small batch. Many thanks for showing us how to make them.
It is however, the angle shown when making the folds a bit difficult to see but not impossible.
HEll YEA! did it on my first go!

Is there a version you can make with the dimensions 6x6? btw, this is really cute!!
akikorocks 1 year ago
Hi,
I haven't tried it with a 6x6, but I will! I think the kimono would turn out a little too wide, but I'll give it a try and let you know :)

The finished product looks great.... but I can't tell what you're doing due to the camera angle, which is kind of really frustrating.

nnetochka,
I'm sorry, I'm using a Flip camera, plus I'm inexperienced with videoing myself. I'm working on doing this better :)
