i never went on kingda ka or this ride but i'm sure kingda ka is more crazy and fun. but ttd is in such a better location. its in the middle of the park neer the water but kingda ka is at the end of the park and practially in the parking lot!

I personally think TTD gives a better ride because you only have lap bars while KK has OTSR. KK may be taller, but it's not even noticeable when actually riding. That's just my opinion

To some maybe, but I love it. You're going so fast that your body is being pushed into the seat anyway. TTD gives a much more thrilling experience.

Actually, you are lifted out of your seat going down the hill if you ride in the last car (the front row of THE LAST CAR is, like on most roller coasters, the absolute best row to be seated in). The amount and the intensity of the airtime varies significantly depending on how fast your train goes over the hill (which varies tremendously on TTD).

Riders on TTD are secured in their seats with BOTH seat belts AND lap bars, so it's both safe and fun.

I was there 24hrs ago and,umm....no gangs,hr n half wait...rough ride(which was unusual) But still, more intense than KK; amazing how having only a small lap bar,and a killer view make all the difference(and the "vroom" helps too)

I just went on it, let me tell ya, it ain't all that and a bag of doritos. It was a bumpy ride and the wait was almost 3 hours! Gangs everywhere cutting line. Great place to take your family. NOT!

this is my favorite ride of all time, but my favorite theme park also.

I collect shotglasses from around the world and when i went here i got a seperate one JUST for this ride.

Kingda Ka. Higher but 20x less fun. And Kingda Ka is not so smooth. AND this one has Lap Bars and KK has only Shoulder Restrains. So on Top Thrill Dragster you feel more freefall

Yes, its called a roll back - What happens is it dont get enough force to go over the top - and it rolls back, but the breaks lock to bring you down safly and slowly :)

my boyfriend and i drove from chicago to cedar point. he went on this last year and so we took a mini road trip the following year. i dont think i was so scared in my life about a roller coaster.

after wards i just wanted to go again and again.

such a thrill/rush.
