wonderful cover of this Bacharach classic. by FGTH with the unique voice of H. Johnson. The album Welcome to the Pleasuredome is a miliar stone of the 80's pop music.
i just meant not so famous..this was not a hit from that album, and i noticed that many people get surprised when i make them listen to this and tell them ..hey, this is frankie goes to hollywood..
@ovalanimal well actually - not all of them included this one, at least when it comes to the probably multiple cd versions.. unfornunately when I picked up my version on cd (I have it on vinyl too) this nice track was NOT on.. sigh

a great, great version. holly is singing, not paul rutherford. it remembers me that 20 and more years ago I was a member of FGTH official club... I still have some incredible pictures somewhere!
What a brilliant cover of this song - the best. Holly's wonderfully smooth voice makes it. Brings back wonderful teenage memories of happy days growing up in Zimbabwe and listening to this under the trees in the garden - bliss!
LOL...ok i was almost sure about ..but i had some doubts concerning the particular depth of his voice here so different from relax, two tribes, and power of love too...:-)
this is the best sounding quality ive heard on youtube thanks /and yeah its super chilled song

I used to have this album on cassette. I wonder how I lost that. Music in the 80`s was so fun even when they did covers of songs from different eras.

No to "Paul Rutherford"; Yes to "Holly Johnson" (it's obvious, incidentally)

in my opinion, my keen ear for subtlety tells me it is definitely holly singing lead. hey... how about more of the record?
