There are small minds everywhere. Obama won because 53% of the US voted for him. Blacks account for a mere 12% of the US pop. 95% of the black vote was for Obama, which is only 7% more than the 88% who voted for Kerry in '04

Their vote was important, but it didn't decide the election. Many other voting groups like Hispanics & >30 showed far BIGGER gains. In fact, Obama received a larger share of the vote than Kerry among ALL voter groups except for voters over age 65 and homosexual voters.
