Where do I start, I just read James Frey's Bright Shiny Morning and I can say that if you ever need to convince someone to stay out of LA at all cost, have them read said book.

It's the city with the most drug abusers, the most gangs, the most homeless people, the most people living in mental institutions and treatment centers. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
