Liza is a Broadway musical legend, she is great on that stage, she doesn't do R&B well but God love her heart she sure tries. She's also one of M.J's dearest friends and we all know he had so few close friends that he let in due to trust issues of which are understandable. But I think for someone her age, she did her best for a man she cared so deeply about. I appreciate and love her for loving our M.J as we did! If you love broadway you would understand her style. I'm a big fan of Liza. Who cares how she did the song...she honored one of her close friend. Liza is legend.

Liza was a true-blue friend of Michael's. She practically cursed Larry King and his other guest out one night when she was on there talking about Michael after he passed away. Larry asked an idiot-ass question and his other guest, Chopa, said something negatively stupid about Michael!! Liza went off!! LOL There's no way Michael would NOT have her at his anniversary singing one of his songs, whether she can still sing or not. She was awesome during her hay-day though, just like her Mom. :-)

Liza had just recovered from spinal meningitis, and after a lifetime of singing and performing, was forced to relearn how to speak. It was amazing that she could even piece together a melody in time for this performance. Michael was a true friend and let her do what she loved to do, namely singing. It was a wonderful gesture, and only a star with complete confidence in his music would let a recovering patient perform it. She was truly "not alone".
