  • Cute but its a lie? Shlomo did not have any authority to look at the ark much less give it to a bastard son,... but cute myth none the less. King Shlomo had many children from his many sexual partners,.. therefore even if he would have truly been a decendent it doesnt entitle him to any thorne whatsoever.

  • @cushcush100

True he did have many children but it seems that Menilek was the only one that kept his legacy alive. Most names of the Ethiopian Kings are taken directly from Israel- Jacob I ruled from 486-489, David 486-489, Beta Israel 542-550, Solomon I 1285-1294, Yohannes IV 1872-1889 his office title was Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, King of Zion, King of Kings of Ethiopia, Elect of God

and menilek II ruled from 1889-1913.

  • @cushcush100 Yet, "Shlomo's" son still inherited a throne...a throne of ETERNAL proportions at that.

Not bad for a "bastard son" (as YOU put it).

  • @YAHKHOV I wonder exactly what book you guys are reading? If you'd bother to read the scriptures it'd be clear to you "WHICH" son is referenced as inheriting the throne.

1 KINGS 11:43; REHOBOAM IS THE SUCCEEDING "SON" OF SOLOMON. "NOT" YOUR GUY IN ETHIOPIA!

STOP LYING TO ONE ANOTHER PLEASE. STOP TRYING TO REWRITE THE SCRIPTURES PLEASE. STOP TRYING TO REWRITE HISTORY PLEASE!

  • @cushcush100 And what happened to Rehoboam's kingdom? It had to be restored again. You don;t have the whole story.

  • @meak911 If your group had a different set of scriptures "other" than the Bible i might be inclined to allow you to have whatever opinion that could be dreamed up.

BUT you mislead and blind sheep maintain that you follow the Bible! Impossible! Either none of you have ever read scripture or you all have a severe reading disability. Or worst,... you're under the power of error.

Read the scriptures,... they do not agree with your doctrine!

  • @cushcush100 Ethiopians are not sola scriptura...are you protestant? Therein lies the problem. There is written and oral biblical tradition...holy tradition

  • @cushcush100 Genesis 49:10

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Rehoboam's kingdom was never destroyed even according to biblical prophecy. Yet the bible does not record the timeline of the kingdom of Judah after the fall of the kingdom to Nebuchadrezzar II in the 6th century as prophecised by the Jeremiah. And still the prophecy of Moses in Genesis 49 prevailed.

  • @cushcush100 The book is referred to as "The Kebra Negast" (The Glory of the Kings) & it speaks expressedly concearning the line of monarchs that stemed out of Solomon into Ethiopia.

No one is attempting to rewrite history & most certainly not The Scriptures, but it would behoove you to tend to things pertaining to this matter a little more closely. Don't worry, it will not defile you; if anything it will only enrich you..that's if you're open to TRUTH & not RELIGION which breeds partiality.
