The FIA were called to inspect Hamiltons gearbox before qualy in Brazil07 due to a gearbox problem. They also investigated the problem after the race and cited a loss of hydraulic pressure. Maybe u should check ur facts before making stuff up & posting inaccurate comments.

Alonso´d dreamed all his life to race for Mclaren since it was Senna´s team. The problem was that Mclaren hired Lewis. He got a perfect start (100s hours training offseason) while Fernando was still adapting to the bridgestones, and Mclaren allowed the Lewis fiartale to carry on. But Fernando would definitely have won the 2007 title if on a couple of occasions, they´ve given him the better strategy.

There wa s abit more to the story than that, Lewis was encouraged and supported by Alonso and McLaren, but Ron behind scenes as manager to Lewis made sure things went Lewis way to ensure his confidence was boosted as much as possible from day 1 so Lewis would not faulter. in the end Lewis ego after 3 races overtook Rons prediction and he had to run with it. Ron created a monster and had to side with the beast even if it meant shafting Alonso.

Hey, I am not saying they are different cars, I agree same machinery, but run by different engineers and differing level of persuasion from team principal. All I am saying is if Dennis is Lewis manager and places him in his team, do you not think he would want maximum return on his investment (Lewis). So makes sense that he is paired with a world champ and his confidence is boosted and ego stroked from day 1, this way if he was ever outclassed by his team mate, everyone would understand.

Sour grapes again. Hamilton had won numerous karting titles, an F3 title, an F3000 title and a GP2 title, and before he'd even had Mclarens help he had won 4 karting titles as well as 2 champions of the future series.
All drivers use simulators, and almost every driver on the grid was on a young driver development program. I'm not slating Alonso, he is one of my favorite drivers but it it very sad that the spanish are so desperate to knock Hamilton

That is a ridiculous argument, a basic human psychological flaw is that under extreme pressure, we make more mistakes. Surgeons,pilots & racing drivers all do it, but last year when Alonso made very few mistakes he was under no championship pressure. Compared to the previous year when he overshot turn 1 in two races, blocked his team mate @ Hun, ran him off the track @ Spa, wrapped his car into a wall(Fuji) at a crucilal point in championship & brought F1 into disrepute by blackmailing his team!

alonso is the perfect package and more talented than hamilton. while alonso had mysterious faults with his mclaren, hamilton was out making mistakes which he was still making in 2008. hamilton, a english driver had a relationship with dennis, a englishman who was president of mclaren, a english team and it was obvious that alonso had been given a raw deal. hamilton always had more technical support and alonso was stuck with second rate machinery at the expense of a rookie. no wonder he left....

Alonso had 1 mech problem(qualy in France), Lewis had 2, nurburgring crash due to wheelgun failure, whilst Alonso crashed into a wall at Fuji. sorry man. there is video evidence that the car messed up before Hamilton pressed neutral. He pushed the button in an attempt to reset the car's gears. but the problem has never really been identified. it's just been called a "hiccup" with the mclaren car i such a crucial moment

The FIA were called to inspect Hamiltons gearbox before qualy in Brazil07 due to a gearbox problem. They also investigated the problem after the race and cited a loss of hydraulic pressure. Maybe u should check ur facts before making stuff up & posting inaccurate comments.

I don't see why so many people argue over it, Raikkonen won 2007 by luck, as did Hamilton in 2008. And thats something that both Ferrari and McLaren fans need to realise.

That, or they play up the achievement too much. Like when Hamilton won his first race people were straight away like "He is in the shadows of Aryton Senna!" Simply not true. and If he had won in 2007, people would play up the debut season title win thing too much, when it's been done before.

i personally ignore what every1 else thinks,i make my analysis based on what i see,remember when Kimi first came in and in his first quali was impressive,every1 bigged him up like crazy,same goes to Vettel every1 tagged him baby schumi after his win,but when a driver makes mistakes like Massa in the start of the season every1 jumps up again and say ohh fire him,he doesnt deserve to be in F1,pple are very quick to judge a driver good or bad and that is very wrong

lol, i never said that mercedes made two differnet engines. it's just when there's a new engine it always went into hamilton's car, fact. hamilton was favored... i never said the tangle with heidlfed was mclaren's fault, it was heidfeld's. hamilton used so much extra tarmac in belgium that a disadvantage (if there was one) would be tiny. plus, i can't even find my post now that your so obsessed with this discussion, i don't care what you think, nor do you care what i do. end of story...

actually, if he didn´t crash out of the Fuji GP he would be world champ as well but was pushing very hard because he had the worse strategy and had to catch up....or if the banned team orders were punished since Raikkonen and Massa fixed their positions in Brazil he would be world champ as well. well, actually Ecclestone is full of it, but just helped my point....Alonso is the most respected driver among his fellows and chairman of the drivers association, the only 2 times world champ and with the best record in the field, and winning with Shumacher racing..if you can´t see that either. I think Alonso is very well known as a fighter, fainting just this last GP...while Hamilton was testing mclaren sim when in GP2 and even well before De la Rosa did. Just try to inform yourself....

Alonso´d dreamed all his life to race for Mclaren since it was Senna´s team. The problem was that Mclaren hired Lewis. He got a perfect start (100s hours training offseason) while Fernando was still adapting to the bridgestones, and Mclaren allowed the Lewis fiartale to carry on. But Fernando would definitely have won the 2007 title if on a couple of occasions, they´ve given him the better strategy.
