@CrazyComputerMan1 it does "sometimes" simply quit the game, so I do recommend saving frequently. But if you change a few slight settings the game should work well on XP. Let me know how it worked out for you!

I still don't get this intro...

the doctor wants to handle the emergency, the incoming patient from the helicopter. He "takes over" for the nurse, and proceeds to use a chainsaw with no objection from the nurse. The patient is not drugged. Then he doesn't have the money (or something like that) and he just "ejects" him via a hole? ...

I have played this since 1997 and I STILL DON'T GET IT. Waaah. :|

Takes over the nurse: Some doctors are know for their "god complex" (he/she can do anything and everything) so when he commandeers the nurse's gurney that's a parody of that :D.

Not so sure about the chainsaw , except maybe the fear of surgery :P

The credit check is funny since some surgery require a credit check of one's history. Bad credit? Down the hole you go!

what are you talking about? nearly all countries have universal healthcare, good credit or bad credit doesnt matter, at least in the first world nations, and nearly all developing nations. I guess the US though is way behind the times.

Most countries with public health care have very high standards. Private hospitals still exists, but they're mainly only used due to long lines that public health care can put you on in less-important surgeries et.c.

This game is awesome! We found a wierd glitch one time where a person dies, turns into an angel, then floats up and into your pool table in the staff lounge. Instead of continuing to float up, they dissapear into it when the hit the edge. We kept waiting for our doctors to be attacked by a possessed pool cue or hit by a floating billiard ball.

Yeah, I have the PC version, and found that the intro was a normal Bink & Smacker file (.smk I believe) which is used by a number of games (Red Alert 2 as well I think).
