im a hockey player and a golf player, been playing both sports my whole life but hockey a little more seriously...i decided to do the happy gilmore shot one day and it worked unbelievably well..now obviously i didn't hit it 400 yards but i easily hit it 15 or 30 yards further than normal...i don't no why but i seem to be the only one out of my friends that can actually constantly do it..

I don't golf. I like to go to the driving range every once in a while to just have fun, get some air, and just do something. I've never been able to just stand still and focus on the ball, so I do the Happy Gilmore swing. I'm there to have fun, not be a stuck up golfer involved in something that's not even a sport. It's a technique, like any, and with practice, one can get just as accurate as the common drive.
