Daryl is not gonna die,he,s the main character in my opinion.If they kill him the show will go down...i mean DOWN...Daryl is the best besides Norman looks.I mean Daryl personality is the most interesting storyline i care.
The sad thing is he will probably get killed off later this season, because everybody hated on him back in season 1. Why do you think they are giving him so much air-time? Because he hasn't got much left.

(1/6) Episode opens with Glenn revealing the presence of the walkers to the rest of the group, who promptly proceed to freak out. Maggie becomes angry with Glenn for not keeping the secret and ruins his hat in retribution. Dale gives Glenn his trademark hat as a replacement. Maggie later makes a plea to Hershel for the group to stay. She and Glenn also have an argument about the walkers, after which they eventually admit their feelings, kiss and make up.
(2/6) Rick and Hershel argue, with Hershel demanding the group leave within a week. Rick uses the my-wife-is-pregnant card, but Hershel's not persuaded. Shane also wants the group to get the hell out of there because of the walkers in the barn, but Rick uses the same excuse to cool him down. However, Shane then becomes convinced that Lori's baby is his.
(3/6) Dale takes off with Shane's guns to hide them in the swamp. Shane tracks him down and demands he give the guns back. Dale points his rifle at him and threatens to shoot. However, he backs down at the last moment, since he has no wish to become like Shane: he reveals that he knows Shane shot Otis and lied about what really happened. Shane heads back to the farm with the guns.
(4/6) Hershel has Rick help him and Jimmy try to fish some walkers out of a nearby pit of quicksand and lead them into the barn with snare poles. He says the group can stay on the farm if they agree not to kill the walkers. They arrive at the farm about the same time Shane emerges from the swamp and hands out guns to other members of the group.
(5/6) Shane sees the snared walkers and goes berserk. He yells at Rick and Hershel as they guide the walkers towards the barn, with the rest of the group and people in the farm looking on. He pulls his sidearm and unloads it in the chest of one of the walkers, demanding to know "Could someone who's alive just take that? Why is it still coming?" Hershel has no answer.
(6/6) He finishes off the walker with a headshot, grabs a nearby pickaxe and breaks open the barn door. Walkers pour out, T-Dog, Daryl, Shane, Glenn, and Andrea form a line and open fire. Once the dust clears, one more walker emerges. Sophia. Rick finally steps up next to the others, pulls his six-shooter and kills Sophia with a shot to the head. End episode.

At first I didn't really like Daryl...or at least I wasn't sure if I did or not. But as the series progressed, I've come to really love him and he is probably my favorite character. He's actually got a big heart...he's just a redneck haha.

Daryl is one of my favorite characters in the series. He's one of those guys who could go get food and supplies by himself for a couple of days..week..or even longer and come back alive. And maybe hardly run into any trouble or get trapped by some walkers. He seems like he knows how to get out of a bad situation or preventing one from happening or getting worse.
He SHOT a guy with his "infected" crossbow in the ass? in episode 4 , that guy should have become a zombie too right? so why didn't he turn into one of them??
@jansy02 I think the rules of this lore are the classic zombie rule. Everyone is already infected, the virus is just dormant. When you die, the virus is triggered to reanimate the corpse. It's not the bite that infects you, it's just lethal so you die. Daryl probably wipes the arrows off; the amount of poison on it was probably minimal.

And if they let one of the big main characters die, then I believe the ratings will go down. Alot of fans will get upset over that for sure, especially since they have a great cast.

Daryl Dixon is useful to the team for the following reasons:
1.He can kill zombies from a distance without attracting more zombies by using his crossbow.
2.He tries to protect the team (i.e. when he tried to kill Jim after he was infected and when he shot the zombie eating the deer near the camp)
3.He is the only one (except maybe T-Dawg) that can stop his ticking time bomb brother Merle when he inevitably comes back and tries to murder everyone at the camp

Daryl also is a hunter which they're going to need just for food on the move. They are already struggling with that. If Merle shows I wonder which side Daryl will take....

This is so badass, what an awesome character. The fact that you used Nirvana is just perfect. All the other tributes to him are filled with absolutely no energy, and this song fits him so well. Nice job. Daryl, you are amazing.

Daryl Dixon is useful to the team for the following reasons:
1.He can kill zombies from a distance without attracting more zombies by using his crossbow.
2.He tries to protect the team (i.e. when he tried to kill Jim after he was infected and when he shot the zombie eating the deer near the camp)
3.He is the only one (except maybe T-Dawg) that can stop his ticking time bomb brother Merle when he inevitably comes back and tries to murder everyone at the camp
I hate Rick for obvious reasons :)

I know you made that comment about Daryl Dixon 3 months ago, but may I add:
4. His aim is also perfect. I have never seem him miss and he also shoots straight in the brain, making sure the walker doesn't stand up again (though I'd advice the entire team to shoot a bit lower, at the hindbrain, since that part is revived when they become zombie)
5. He improves the view.
6. He's though enough to survive, and he doesn't whine about life(unless you eat his dear)
