So, "acapella" technically means only the human voice is used, but doesn't necessarily imply that the performance has to be live

it's a combination of compression, eq, delay, punch-recording, and backing vocals. i don't hear any signs of auto-tune though, which is pretty awesome. she is a good singer; i didnt expect her to use any autotune.
