@abumiz When the Romans conquered Judea, there were no Canaanites, there were Jews though, and those Jews were expelled. Hence the people that call themselevs palestinians cannot be from there. They came from somewhere else. And by them calling themselves Arabs, I would guess they are from Arabia.

Even Jerusalem not only was not being built by the likely then non-existent “Jewish people” in 1000 BCE, but Jerusalem probably was not even inhabited at that point in history.
