I understand capturing the perimeter fireworks and that's cool, but you miss the best part of the show and that is what's going on around the castle, especially at the end. Might I suggest one sweep showing the perimeters going off and then focusing on the castle? Or, for a complete experience, watch them from the Grand Floridian.

You didn't miss the ending. The ending was the 180 fireworks around the Magic Kingdom. That very issue was addressed and explained in the description to the right. Thanks.

It used to be 360 - a few years back. Which meant it was behind the castle, on the sides of Main Street and then all the way around Bay Lake. However, now they just do 180 - which is behind the castle and then on the sides of main street - cutting the 360 in half. I assume this was to cut costs. Used to, the fireworks would be behind you as well as on either side. Now they are just to the sides. It's still impressive. You still have to look everywhere to see them. :) Just not behind.

hmmm i wonder y they turned off the castle lights *the bright white ones they had* i wonder if it would of made the show harder to see

Yup. That's why. They turn off the lighting on the castle, the castle hub and Main Street (up to Town Square). The lights on the castle would be too distracting to display throughout the entire show, but they make a nice "bookend" for the show. Plus, the on-castle candles wouldn't even show up that well against that bright backdrop. :)

They call that show "Wishes". :) This is merely the Holiday version of that show. There's also a Halloween version of Wishes titled, "Hallowishes".
