  • I've learned more about money, the history of money and it's central role in our lives from this gentleman than anyone else. Everyone else pales in comparison. Still for president!

  • @Angelkiller20 -- Absolutely correct! It is absolutely confusing. How come he harps on the gold standard and doesn't say ONE WORD about banks lending out money they do not have? How can he not call for a Constitutional Amendment forbidding government borrowing? Those are the two main issues.

  • @zuluwhiskybravo -- Just not so. "Coin" could be money made of leather according to the English usage of the day according to Professor Robert G. Natelson of Harvard (see my book, "No More National Debt"). Also, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that "coin" is, in essence a verb, thereby authorizing the issuance of paper money for the United States in Gulliard v. Greenman, 1884.

  • I really agree with most of your points, however don't believe we should have military bases all over the world. The are part of the massive military industrial complex, and with new technologies - like drones, we don't even need to have a presence in other countries. Japan and many others want us out. What do you think of that?

  • @ltlblugrl -- I'm willing to listen, but would want to hear informed opinion on both sides. I've never heard that anything but a vocal minority want us out of Japan. Besides, I'm not saying keep the bases active -- just don't sell the real estate.

  • Bill, Does any country on earth at all currently have a debt free system?

  • @5car5ace -- Not that I know. Guernsey has the closest. It issues it's own debt free money, the Guernsey Pound, but the British Pound circulates in parallel.

  • Hi Bill I had a dream about your videos. I was looking in the dirt(internet) I found some gemstones(information) I found a glass rock(your videos) as I handled it it began turning into a diamond then into a lens. I placed the lens into a telescope(the bible) I focused the telescope and I could see the whole picture clear. Daniel 12:4 knowledge will be abundant. Revelations 18:1-2 I saw an angel of light descend from heaven and he cried mightily saying, "Fallen fallen is Babylon(Elite bankers)

  • @genesistwoeighteen -- "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams...." Acts 2:17

  • @zuluwhiskybravo -- Yes, but the problem is "in a free society". My contention is that we cannot secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity unless we follow Article 1, Sec. 8 which says: "Congress shall have Power To ... coin Money [and] regulate the Value thereof...." You have to choose. You either believe in the rule of law via a Constitutional Republic, or you believe in the law of the anarchistic jungle, where ultimately the rich will thrive and rule over the serfs.

  • @Angelkiller20 -- Yes, I have, and I reprint an email string I had with his staffer on this subject after I met Dr. Paul and he asked me to contact the staffer to set up a meeting so we could talk and come to some consensus. It was just talk. He has no intention of changing his mind because there is an entire, wealthy legion of goldbugs behind this concept -- UNFORTUNATELY!

  • @pjpopper -- Unless you have signed a "Loyalty oath", then yes, you can. The way you do it is you would have to go to the Libertarian National Convention held the first weekend in May in Las Vegas. I'll put something up on the details on my website. What the LP needs in to straighten out their political philosophy. Their party platform is a mish-mash of alternative political ideas from the 1970s when they were founded. I will be addressing that later today in this space.

  • @zuluwhiskybravo -- It's difficult for me to understand this comment. If the basis of money is precious, how can it not be held primarily by the wealthiest and used for their benefit? How could in not be used the further their political preferences? Unless you are positing that these wealthiest individuals are pure humanitarians and would -- and have always used -- their great wealth in the public interest.

  • Way to go Bill! BTW have you checked the transtalion I sent you? Let me know if you're still interested! God bless us all!!

  • Hello Bill.

Another aspect of "The Wizard of Oz" relating to currency, that I've just realised and never saw you mention (maybe too obvious to mention).. is The last word in the title..

Oz as in ounces (of gold I guess).

The Wonderful Wizard of Ounces !

The least of your concerns maybe but what do you reckon ?

Hope Ron Paul will take to your stance before too long eh >: ]

  • @hunkydoryorder -- Ya, Oz is pretty obvious, but I didn't want to stretch. I stuck with just the stuff the academics had pointed out as far as the symbolism goes.

  • It just makes sense. Close your eyes and forget about any prejudice and listen to what the truth is. Use your commonsense and if you don't have any do your research.

  • Bill Still's videos, Money Masters, Secret of Oz, & the Money as Debt DVDs are the last piece of sanity I can find anywhere.

  • Though I don't agree with you on every subject Mr.Still, I deeply respect your opinion, and appreciate all the work you have done.

  • I would be glad if this man would be my president

  • @IAMLight8 -- Go to w w w d o t still2012 d o t c o m

  • where is my coment?

  • @HegaveisonlySON -- YouTube constantly messes with me. They don't even allow me to see comments for the first 48 hours. I'm not their fav political commentator -- or presidential candidate.

  • If we can at least get back to something like the Glass Stegall point of time, would that be enough if the insane overspending stopped? That's far fetched because easy credit is just that, TOO EASY. Do you at least agree that some kind of physical standard would be better than fiat? Or is your position that fiat is okay so long as it's not under this FRN debt system?

  • @brown55061 -- No value backed money will work. See my comment to zuluwhiskybravo above. For money to serve the public interest it must be valueless and ubiquitous (be available everywhere). Gold meets neither of these tests. Also, please consider modifying your definition of "fiat". Gold money is fiat as well if given legal tender status -- "ordered by government fiat...."

  • I watched Ron Pauls, after Iowa caucus address. Did you see the big smile on Ron Pauls sons face when Paul mentioned a Gold Standard? WOW are we being had?

  • @HegaveisonlySON -- Saw it; agree with you.

  • Bill, I would agree with most of this, but I think you need to look into the military\industrial complex angle when it comes to security issues. I'm under the impression that most of the current threats are manufactured by those who would benefit through military expenses, but more importantly those doing global engineering by way of warfare.

  • @SeanMauer -- I just don't buy all of that. I don't buy the Ron Paul line that America is an imperialist nation. Yes, big international bankers are always going to be in there encouraging war because it encourages debt. But America has enemies and always will have enemies, as long as it remains the champion of human freedom. Now, if you wish to cede that position and believe that we'll all just be better off to live in a happy New World Order without nation states, then go for it.

  • @bstill3 So if we just print our own money, we can continue to maintain over 600 bases in 130 different countries, spreading our goodness, freedom and democracy through force of arms? We have never faced a serious threat from an external force wanting to invade this country ever. Not even in WWII. who are these enemies that you think have a chance of invading this country if we bring our troops home and use them to defend this country? I respect you BIll but not sure where youre going here.

  • @mahavira108 -- Then please study closely what I say, not what you surmise that I say. I have said repeatedly that I don't care if you fence these pieces of property off, remove all the military personnel and let the rabbits overrun the remaining real estate -- hardly a "base". Just don't sell the property -- just in case.

  • You are right on target Bill. Thank you for all you do in exposing the tyrannical deception of our past and current government devises. If only more people would see the truth of this and band together to defeat them and their agenda. God bless you and all that you are doing. I wish you the favor of God toward a rightious government! Peace my friend and the best in your run this year!

  • @hopenchrist777 -- May the blessings of the Comforter bath you and your entire family for seven generations, my friend.

  • Everything that has been done is treasonous to the United States. This is a moral issue. We need change and I think that every law that has been past that has put us in this situation needs to be changed and charges brought on the ones that have orchestrated this whole mess.I am tired of talking about what we can do and how we got this way.We all know how and why. They have taken the money right out of our wallets. Now its time to get it back,Just as fast as they have taken it.

  • @pampasg -- "Rapid change with on option on violence" was a cute phrase from an old song in the 1970s, but that's not the way you build a freedom loving society where the rule of law (a Constitutional Republic) is respected for all citizens, as opposed to the law of the jungle -- the anarchist viewpoint.

  • I sent this same clip to my liberal progressive friend trying to point out how this old geezer was right on the money about what was going to happen to this country. He only reacted by saying that the Bircher's were "right wing loonie bins." They have this false paradigm well established in the mass consciousness. .

  • @mahavira108 -- Yes, which I am spending some of my political capital to try to fix. I hope the Birchers appreciate it, but I'm sure most of them won't because I'm speaking against one of the pillars of their cosmology -- gold is the answer.

  • nice job bill.

  • Minor Tangential pont:

To imply that the USA simply minded it's own during the first 140 years of its existence is to ignore either the facts or the humanity of pre-American residents of the North American Continent. The entire history of US foreign policy has been one of military aggression and expansion. It is just that initial concentration was on the conquest. annexation and ethnic cleansing of native-held territories between the two oceans, before attention turned to overseas adventures.

  • @christianpatriot125 -- good points.

  • Concise as always thanks for your work Bill. Wishing you well in 2012.

  • First

  • Nice coverage of this speech. I remember hearing it a while back and remarking at how much foresight Welch had.

I agree on all of the main points here: nationalism, states rights, sovereign money. Bang on. One thing you might want to look into is the 9/11 fraud. I believe that the TSA is one means of expanding the police state and diminishing our expectation of privacy. Also see the "border checkpoints" 50 miles from the border.

  • @ChristopherMarlowe -- I agree about the TSA. It boggles the mind how such a mindless exercise is allowed to continue.

  • I always get your videos from OnePageNews d com. I'd be curious as to what you think of that site. Seems pretty common sense oriented. Great video!

  • @drtyrell969 -- Never heard of them. Will take a look though.

  • Was 'we the people' written with corporations as people in mind? It seems that the current centralization of power is hiding in this funny idea.

  • I'm excited to see you at a debate against the GOP nominee and Obama. Good luck! Thank you for opening my eyes to our economic woes.

  • Hey Bill, Its big banks in collusion with government that are to blame, not just big banks. The big banks and government came up with the FED to get around the constitution requiring the government to only coin gold and silver as money. What is wrong with the Gold or bi-metal standard anyways? Isn't deflation(declining prices) a good thing? Also what prevents the government from inflating the currency (that is in paper form)in hopes of making everyone happy? How would they decide who gets what?

  • @charronfamilyconnect -- I have spent my entire adulthood answering this question with MILLIONS of words. If you are really interested, please take the time to read my book, "No More National Debt". What is needed is economic stability -- which is supposed to be the basis of the study of economics anyway. What we have is built-in instability, which is the basis of plutocracy.

  • The UN is an agency of Babylon in the book of Revelations. The book of Habakkuk in the bible in verse 2:5 says it this way. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine(money printed out of thin air at the expense of the poor), he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: Then Hab2:6-8 will not your debtors arise? Then you will be their victim.

    Jer 50:2

  • @genesistwoeighteen -- Wow! Great passage.

  • @bstill3 I had a dream about killing the New World Order. I was in a dog pen(world) a lion(Elite bankers) was loose. I knew I had to kill him. I found him hiding under a footstool(Isaiah 66:1) I picked him up he was acting innocent. I poked his neck with a screw driver(Jer50:2) and I could see through his neck and I poked his spinal cord and ripped his head off. Then I read this. Habakkuk 3:13 you wounded the head of the house of the wicked by discovering the foundation unto the neck.

  • @bstill3 We will kill the New World Order if we raise up a banner and publish among the nations Babylon(Wallstreet Elite bankers corporations) is captured(Jeremiah 50:2). Jeremiah 51:20 You are my battle ax with you I destroy the nations and with you I shatter the kingdoms. God will use us if we raise up a banner. Isaiah 48:20come out of Babylon with shouts of singing and declare it to the ends of the earth. They thirsted not when he led them throught the desserts Hegave them water from the rock

  • @genesistwoeighteen -- Well, I'm doing everything I can. I have thrown my all into this quest.

  • @bstill3 I think you are the best. I love you for your great work. Keep it up!

  • Excellent video!

  • Communism is any system with a progressive tax. R's want less progressive, D's want more progressive producing a polarizing effect that makes them appear to be two truly opposing forces when they are one thing - like a magnet. The communist bankers are physicists, that's why they control the planet. Book entry currency - a debit and a credit - two opposing forces that make a dollar. Learn what the banker understands. Karl Marx was commissioned by bankers. Shut the bank down, it's pure fraud.

  • We love you Bill Still. Thank you for all your hard work.

  • Centralization of power dosn't sound very good. Would collectivism work.

P.S. Have you read G Edward Griffins Work on individualism vs collectivism.

  • @Castle3179 - I'm not fond of Griffin any more. I don't like to frame the argument that way. I prefer to stand on the bedrock of Constitutional thought -- government of, by and for we, the people. "We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution ...."

  • Bill is right.

The Gold standard did cause the first depression to hit America, and was fallowed by the planned American Revolution By Benjamin Franklin.

Is history about to repeat itself?

  • Ron Paul for President, Jesse Ventura for Vice President, Bill Still as Treasury Secretary or Federal Reserve Chairman(transition phase)!!!

  • Agree with most of your points Bill (including your debt free money solution). Not too sure about the military bases though. We wouldn’t be too happy with a permanent German base in our backyard.

  • @NikosGazis -- It's property. We own it. In fact, we have a similar German base in our backyard. They bought it. They own it. It's the big black building on the Dulles Airport property on the NW corner of Aviation Dr. and Autopilot Dr. The reason I know this is I grew up in Loudoun County, VA. What do you consider the UN HQ in NYC to be a base for? They own it.

  • yer the man bill

  • I sure wish we could get you heard during the POTUS debates.

  • Perhaps gold AND silver should back the money at a set ratio. In the mean time ,I'm glad I'm in the 1 percent that stores a portion of my wealth in both.

  • happy new year to you Bill

  • Long live the free United States of America.

  • Did you mean 1947 speech?

  • Follow Hungary, Hungary wants to nationalize it's "National" Bank and in return they are threaten with kicking out of Euro, not getting IMF loan and downgraded by rating agencies.

  • @hookah604 -- If you know something about the Hungarian situation, please contact me at thesecretofoz@gmail. c o m

  • Thanks for the update as always Bill.

  • Bill, you are awesome and inspirational.

  • Good man Bill. Keep it up.

  • The world has never seen true anarchism where the society is violently against relinquishing any form of power or control to a consolidating governing body. If there was a philosophical revolution of thought regarding self governance I believe such a society could function efficiently.

  • @DuncanL7979 -- This is the opposite of the rule of law. This is the essence of the law of the jungle.
