  • I lost it at the Dead Cat part XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Bob Zmuda >> LOL. Of course he's in this movie

  • his father makes him so uncomfortable that he can't concentrate when he's around. He grew up thinking that everything he does has to please his father. I know the feeling of growing up around someone who seems to have their life so together and you feel you have to measure up in order to fit in. It's pressure.

  • What makes me feel better about this is closing my eyes and pretending Woody is trying to do stand up.

  • Man, do I know the feeling...

  • just great acting

  • I can't watch this. I know it's just a movie but it's too painful to watch.

  • Extremely sad.

  • Happy 55th Birthday dear Tom... Hanks :D lets enjoy our birthdays :) I love u

    Go Vegan =]

  • Wow i hope the movie is better than that stand up routine.

  • whats wrong with this character?

  • SIMPLY - GREAT ACTING!

  • Is that fritz talking about his dad?

  • If the movie had better stand up routines in it , it would have been much better received. Stand up is an impossible thing to write in a screenplay though. Stand up has to be worked and retooled and tested with audiences. If you can get past that stuff, a GREAT MOVIE AND A GREAT STORY.

  • If I saw this live & I didn't know who the guy was I would think it's pretty damn funny. The audience is a bunch of tight asses.

  • @mybalzurchin Neil Hamburger!

  • In my humble opinion, Punchline is a very, very under-rated movie. Tom Hanks is brilliant in this movie and kinda feels like he has 'actually lived' this character. I believe this to be Tom Hanks' 3rd best movie ... right behind Philadelphia and Forrest Gump (the 2 movies he received Best Actor for).

  • @New987user what a superb bit of acting.

  • @New987user could not agree with you more. I was a huge Tom Hanks fan back when he was starring in films like "Big" and "Burbs", and until this day I believe that this here was one of his best parts ever. He himself stated that this movie was one of his own favourites.

  • @New987user I agree on "Gump" but this is #2. Philadelphia was the worst.

Even the title song from Springsteen wasn't good.

    Just sayin.
