  • I wasn't expecting that bit at the end! ("Whoopsie whoop hoo?") Lovely version and excellent band too!

  • @Rg2732: You're joking, right? Surely she says 'Merci beaucoup'.

  • @Aviva2121 Admittingly, no. French just sounds like a bunch of whooping sounds to the untrained ear...well, I've learned a new term, at least!

  • Bravo!

  • just wonderful. the french

  • Bad sound, and she's out of key,,, got it all wrong !!!

  • @misspetedoherty You are wrong, Stacey Kent sings this beautifully.

  • Thank you Stacey, you make a cold miserable night for late night school work better with every note you sing.

  • Stacey is the cutest singer we have at the moment. Nice to meet you, my dear.

  • I knew this song bye Streisand and Mina...but this rendition is also very good.Thank you for posting.

  • Great!!!

  • bravo Stacey! I stumbled across a SK tune not too long ago and have been a steady fan ever since.

  • Divine, superb, and wonderful. Stacey Kent is one of the all-time masters at eliciting the beauty of the song purely via nuance. The pianist is imaginative and ingenious. They've arranged the version for the saxophonist to come in at a perfect moment late in the song. These people are wonderful and I can't say enough about them. In a world with so much bad music and culture, it's a miracle that they exist, strengthening and redemptive.

  • Thank you fir your nice comment , I agree 100%!

    Have a nice day

    GG

  • @lezgon ....I could not have said it any better than you did!......nowdays, the music is insulting to say the least!....AND, from the crowds that go and pay to see and hear that garbage is simply beyond my civilized comprehension. I really don't get it!..

How can so many people have such bad taste!...as for Stacey Kent, she should be canonized as the "Saint" of all vocalist!.... Perhaps there is hope after all!...God Bless you Stacey!....

  • @lezgon An articulate and enthusiastic review, great! Nice to hear Stacy, really a sweet voice.

  • been searching for a live VDO of this for yrs..Stacey and the band are top notch..is that manu katche on drums?

  • Yes it's our great Manu on drums !

  • amazing!
