Με μια απλή ψηφιακή φωτογραφική της εποχής καταγράφω και μερικά κλιπάκια της προσέγγισης στον λιγοστό χώρο που είχε διαθέσιμο για video και χαμηλότατης ανάλυσης (για σημερινά δεδομένα) μάλιστα. Σώζω το video στο τότε PC και μετά από λίγο το ανεβάζω και στο internet στο flightsim.gr που δεν υπάρχει πια.

Περνάνε κάμποσοι μήνες, ίσως και χρόνος. Γνωρίζομαι virtual με τον Στάθη από το άλλο μας hobby, την εικονική αεροπορία (hvacc.gr), απ' όπου επικοινωνούμε με φωνητική σύνδεση για θέματα αεροπορίας αφού εν μέσω virtual καταλάβαμε και οι δυο πως κάποια σχέση έχουμε με το real.

Κάποια στιγμή στη συζήτηση μου λέει τι κάνει του λέω τι κάνω και εγώ και πάνω εκεί του αναφέρω τι ωραίο που είναι το RJ και πως προ μηνών είχα πετάξει πρώτη φορά (με RJ) και ένας μάγκας κυβερνήτης με έβαλε μέσα και με άφησε μάλιστα να βιντεοσκοπήσω τότε και όλη την προσέγγιση.

Ναι ; μου λέει, για στείλε μου το videaki να το δω.

Το περνάω στο Στάθη (με ICQ νομίζω!) και μετά από λίγα δεύτερα μου λέει "ρε συ ΕΓΩ είμαι, τώρα σε θυμάμαι! αυτός είσαι ;" και εκεί άρχισαν όλα.

Ευχαριστώ το φίλο που το έχει περισώσει από το flighstim.gr γιατί εγώ δεν το έχω πια ή το έχω θαμμένο σε ένα παλιό PC.

Σε ερώτηση που είχα κάνει μετά στον Στάθη τι είναι το τελευταίο νεύμα με τα δάχτυλα στον marshaller μου είχε πει πως ήθελε να του κάνει νόημα για κάποιο θέμα και διαισθητικά του βγήκε αυτή η κίνηση και ας μην τον άκουγε !

i think this plane is a 737 not an avro.

Actually it is an Avro, many features of the cockpit are not typical of a 737 :-)

My father also was a Pilot.But in September 15 1944 he was Piloting a USAAF B-17 Bomber named "Pig Chaser" or AAF serial number 42-31836 in the 15th AF,463rd Bomb Group,772nd Bomb Squadron on a bombing mission with this airfield as the target.

At the time it was being used by the German Luftwaffe with their JU-52 transports.I do have the bomb photos for this target.

No,it was wartime.He served to defeat NAZI Germany and to help liberate those countries.

My dad was not only a Pilot he was an aircraft commander.

Back in the 1940's if one refused to serve they would go to prison.

This is an AVRO RJ100 (the new version of BAe 146-300) with tha AEGEAN AIRLINES colors.

It was one of my favorite approaches (VISUAL) as I remember at Hellenikon LGAT airport. The most interest of this video is that the plane discents without problem with 5.000 ft/min and the cabin rate at 350ft/min.

The video q is low though
