  • no I had a 9800 pro and I couldnt play it, if you need more info I'll link you to the page where the game checks your pc and tells you if it qualifies

  • 8800 oh yah

  • what do u press to get in cover?

  • it's just me or this one looks better than Vegas 2?

    anyway both great games

    and runs great on a 8800GTS 320Mb

  • that's what i thought... wtf?

  • They're the same man

  • I choose Vegas 2 more effect but the map suck little bit lol!

  • vegas ruined the whole rainbow six experiance..

  • I got RSV 1 too but the graphic are very ugly !! I got 2 x 8800GTS (SLI)... How can i have GOOD graphic like in the video Please ? :(

  • No. It's the first level of Vegas 1.

  • shit y do u have to play that scary sounding music....it does get better at the end tho

  • omg read the description.

  • fraps is a program used to record in game video and to show frames per second in game.

  • j/w what are fraps?

  • 8800 gts overpowered by 8800 gt slim and sexy card but still only at maximum of 50 fps for the new games but f u use ultra xxx u get the high scoring of 90 fps

  • Read the description.

  • get a quad core with atleast 4 gig ram, and the latest motherboard. that will help alot. because 8800 is one of the best graphic cards in the world

  • Not even close to the best. Good, but not the best.

  • fraps records at 30 fps unless u change it

  • Yes but it doesn't mean you will get 30fps. It works in a strange way. Think of the lag you get when extracting a big file.

  • fraps makes your video card render the stuff back to the cpu for archiving, so it can ruin fps.

  • I have a question. I have a 4000+ AMD Athlon 64 processor (with 2.6GHz), with 768mb RAM, 160GB Harddrive, and I believe my graphics card is a Ati Radeon x1250. I was wondering if a Geforce 8800 could fit in my pc if I took out my old graphics card? Or if I got like 1 or 2 more GB ram could I run crysis like lowest settings now lag? Sorry I just need to kno thanks.

  • Check what graphics slot your motherboard has. An 8800 requires PCI-E 16x. Old graphics cards have AGP but some can be in both. Check either your motherboard box or look it up on a website.

  • Fraps records video direct from the game?`thats a strain on the on the computer, picture dl a movie while playing

  • lag

  • remember my friend that its recorded with fraps

  • pretty..

  • I have the 8800 GTX :)

  • i too :)

  • wat settings?

  • No difference, only at extremely high resouloutions

  • Jonnerz I have practically have the same pc specs as you can you run crysis and if so at what setting

  • What cooling device are you using on that OC? Watercooled or Aircooled?

  • the 7600 could be an AGP card if it is then thats not good but if its PCi-e i dunno..

  • Whit a 7600 it's Fine (I don't lag).

Maybe the lag it's for another reason, RAM, Processor or something, but the Video Card it's fine. 2GB Ram, 2.8GHz there's no lag.

  • lol yea just like me i have teh same type of grafix card

  • ye i lagged on my 8600GT on this game its a mean game pc spec wise

  • Look Pretty Much The Same.

    Still GEFORCE FTW!

  • black hawk down music? hmm sounds familiar...

  • Yeah :)

  • yes

  • how bout that geforce 8800 ultra? is'nt that supposed to top all the others?

  • Yes that will probably be able to run games coming out in a year in MAX...

  • 9800's supposed to come out late this month, January, or February at the latest they said.

  • 8800 ultra cant even run Crysis in max with antialiasing and for a 600 dollar card thats weak. Its the best one out atm but the new 8800gts 512 mb is way more priceworthy.

  • which Graphics card is better with FPS, 320MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800 GTS - Superclocked or the 768MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8800 GTX ??

  • 768mb one will b the better for new games like crysis or bioshock

  • GTX

  • Wouldn't be much difference on games like Vegas, but Crysis the GTX will have a lot higher FPS.

  • the gameplay still looks choppy. playable i guess tho.

  • As I said in the description and many times in here. FRAPS makes it Choppy, the recording program. Without fraps I get 70fps.

  • 70fps maximum or minimum? I'm getting a pc with a 8800 GTX, if it realy does run at a nice 70 fps, and stays above 25 fps in high detail areas, i'll get this game. I just can't stand choppy play, so 70 frames a second minimum? I hope so :P

  • 100+ Max, 70 average but I have gone to around 50 fps during intense fighting scenes. I can't stand choppy games either... :P

  • i know this song!! Black HAwk Down!! haha love that movie!! it's the best war movie out there!!

  • mate u are soooo right, Black Hawk Down is an amazing movie

  • haha it's not just amazing~ it's also emotional!! kk and it's kinda weird cause i think about 20 soldiers died during this war and more than thousands of Somalia's soldiers died.. haha so we won that war! technicall... haha

  • :/ My computer struggles to play this game max for some reason.

    Intel Quad Core 2 @ 2.40GHz

    2GB RAM

    Nvidia 512 8500 GT

    Vista 32bit

I want to overclock my CPU but not sure how, and I dont fancy my computer becoming an oven.

Does any one know why the game lags?

  • Obviosly is your GFX card.

8500GT? why waste money on that shit? thats pure waste.

  • It came with my computer.

  • Yer, not every graphics card can handle hi-res lighting and shading. Just turn them down a tad lol.

Just need a new graphics card (Y).

  • your video card is the problem...dont cpu overclock, this game and all other games in existance today atm will not use all of ur cpu, u need a new video card, go for the 8800 series if possible

  • i think the reason its lagging could be the fact that your using vista (depending on ur ram) and also your running an 8500gt either get a better card or pos add another gb of ram

  • you used the Black Hawk music but very nice.

  • can my comp run this

    Intel E6420 Core 2 Duo

    4gb ram 667

    vista basic

    320mb nvidia GeForce 8800gts

  • lol ya

  • can i play it or is that for somthing else

  • dude come on ... What's the matter ? there is nobody who wants to tell you that you have a cool pc or what ? ... I really find that your question is stupid ... of course it runs ... duh ! Smug !

  • god sack i know nothing aout computers

  • sorry ... maybe i overreacted ... but your question is weird ... when you bought the pc ... nobody told you that it's ass kicking ? I mean ... you gave a big amount of money right ? ... didn't you thought that ... nevermind ...

  • lol you should be able run this just about maxed with no problems

  • cool video....hey is that C&C Generals terrorist theme?

  • cant wait to buy a new card and play this!!

    cool vid man!

  • how do i no if my psu is able to connect to my graphics via the pcie connection

  • and btw, i have geforce geforce 8800gtx 768mb, so i dont rlly care xD

  • lol. I want dual Ultras running at max...that would be interstellar...

  • hehe who said that the game works only on Nvidia ? O_O bullshit get an ATI video Card emm Radeon X1650 + with 256mb or higer and you able to play

  • ATI sucks ass, though. Really, look up benchmarks, they bite.

  • yea, ati sucks. but still its able to play with ati

  • well, yes, the consoles are built particularly for gaming, which is y their specs are really weak. but vista is crap. it uses 2 many resources and has very little new features compared to XP. installed H2, lagged like a fuck. formatted, used XP and an XP patch, played decently with everything on 'cept FSAA.

  • in the forceware drivers

  • I got a Q6600 @ 3.2ghz, 2gb ddr800, MSI 8800GTS 640mb OC @ 575mhz/1.7ghz/1.35ghz shader and case with 2x250mm Fans :)

  • this looks that same as the 360 version

  • the 360 is better because it provides 4-sample FSAA. Pc doesn't provide that.

  • you can force it on the PC

  • yeah, but...but...

    ummmm...how?

  • somethin called nHancer

  • OMFG!!! It only works on nVidia cards!!!! Is there something like that for ATI?

  • umm... there might be, but ive only used Nvidia. never wanted ATI

  • hey, i'm thinking about buying this card, but it costs about just as much as a xbox 360, i mean wtf? should i rather buy a xbox 360 or this card (640mb)??

    my specs are:

    intel core 2 duo 6400@ 2,13Ghz

    2gigs RAM

    ati radeon x1300pro graphics card

    windows xp media centre edition

  • Well the one bad thing about consoles is that you can't upgrade them. But they still rock. But personally I would pick the graphics card as you can do alot more things with it that on a console.

  • Plus the question ''will this graphics card work?'' will be gone with directx10. On a down note besides crysis and a few new released game I don't see a reason to spend money on the 9 series by nvidia so I think it'd be wise to stick with a 8800 card (although you might want a higher ddr3 ram, it shouldn't cost you a hundred more to double it)

  • by the graphics card. Consoles are gay and plus crysis is comn out only on pc

  • you're going to need vista to play newer games that use directx 10. It's compatible with the card.. I'm just saying prepare to dual boot.

  • yes

  • "Windows Vista Business (No Problems with games at all! All programs I had on XP work fine on it, ignore the rumours!!!)" The problem has never been things not working on VIsta, but they run so bad on Vista compared to XP I just lost my faith in humanity.

  • Earlier in the year alot of people were complaining 'loads' of programs weren't working and games didn't work.

  • But that was then, not the problem is performance itself along with some compability issues for PunkBuster, for example. I got 30% decreased performance in Vista over XP... that is outragous, and I got decently high-end stuff in general to consider.

  • kool just as good as ps3

  • lol consoles sucked fucking ass, and try not to compare em with pcs coz ur gonna get into lots of trouble lol

  • HA! I Got 640 mb version but still nice dude.

  • not much difference at all...

  • are u using 64bit vista? man i have trouble with my drivers install the 64bit.

  • damn this shit is just as choppy as on my 7900gtx.what card do i get to run this part smoothly?

  • "Not only did the POWER4 become the first microprocessor to incorporate dual-cores in a single die, it also was the first to implement a Multi-Chip Module (MCM) containing four POWER4 Microprocessors in a single package."

  • also, xeons are not just for servers either, they are very powerful, just one 2.66ghz zeon would be enuph.but i want to get a macpro, which comes standerd with 2x2.66ghz xeons, and a geforce 7300gt(yes its slow, but its not a gaming computer) its also very cheap, its only $2499.

  • Clock GHz >1.3 Power 115 W 1.5 V @ 1.1 GHz Transistors 174 million Gate L 90 nm Gate oxide 2.3 nm Metal-layer pitch thickness M1 500 nm 310 nm M2 630 nm 310 nm M3-M5 630 nm 420 nm M6(MQ) 1260 nm 920 nm M7(LM) 1260 nm 920 nm Dielectric ~4.2 Vdd 1.6 V
  • i didnt say i wanted it to game -_-. i dont play games that much, i wanted to use it for other stuf like making movies.i said they are USED for servers, they can be used for other stuf.(the cell proccesor is more of a server cpu then the power5 and its still used for the ps3, also the xbox360 uses 3 cpus that are crosses between the power5 and power4(i have a g5, which is based on the power4) it is 1.8 ghz(still as fast as a 1.8 core duo).

  • looks just like 360 and PS3 maybe a little better

  • I got burgled three weeks ago, pc got stolen. So i bought a new PC with the insurance money. It has a intel core 2 duo E6750 2.66ghz instead of the 1.86ghz.

  • That sucks, if anyone tried to burgal my PC, I would stab them..... literally, Knife is in room near my pc :)

  • I wish I could, but I was on holiday :(

  • wow sux

  • hehe, you should thank them, huh.

  • with fraps on it's still beter than my 7600gt xD

  • Yeah its sad that if the company tried harder then this game would have ben awsome.

  • uhh 8800 ultras=wayy better than GTX, i didnt think so at first till i saw a vid on youtube comparing the XFX 8800Ultra xxx version side by side with a 8800GTX and the ultra had double the fps of the GTX in dx10, the game was lost planet

  • reallyy???...

wow. because ultras are a certain revision of the GTX chip just basically ultimately superclocked.

  • good vid tho

  • i think u got it all wrong.

    ultras wer pieces of waste.

it's an overclocked 8800 GTX for like 200 bucks more.

    better off getting 2 8800 GTS 640mbs

they end up being better than 1 8800 Ultra anyways

  • ooooo fun looking game, totally getting it

    i just have one problem

    that is definatly not vegas

more like Rainbow Six Mexico City.

  • uhh lol r u stupid, i dont wana sound mean but dude....ive played the same exact scene in vegas and yes it is vegas...a destroyed vegas

  • mm

well it was probalby not a main part of vegas

i've only been on the strip

like mgm grand, mandala bay, excaliber, hotels like that, just walking around and all

  • rofll nicee man i got same card as u and looks like it builds pressure on ur GPU... how many fps did u get? and any1 with a 640 please tell me how much u got :D

  • i wasnt convinced by the 320 vers card but ill be honest it does look good....I got the 640 ver and its great.....nice vid!

  • lmao why is everyone geting these kick ass gpus and they have shity cpus?! omg if i got that card id be going just as fast and my comp is 5 years old! dont get a card this good unless your rolling zeons! get a quad core zeon THEN a 8800gts. fucking core 2 duo, HA! (btw my cpu is running just as fast as yours, i even have more ram then you.*sigh* well the card aint that good any way, iid get an x2900, now THATS a card!

  • i have like 2 8800 GTS 640mbs

and i believe i have the computer to back it up.

Quad core Q6600 under a phase changer at negative 70 degrees celcius overclocked to 4.5ghz per core

4gigs of G.Skill RAM running at 1050mhz each stick

    evga 680i motherboard

both videocards and the motherboard are watercooled with a custom watercooling system built by me.

and a 10,000 RPM WD Raptor X harddrive

and for storage i have a 7200 RPM 500gig harddrive.

  • hmm, i stil think asus makes the best mobos, and if your running 32bit vista, you comp will only see 3 gigs(i think the max is 4.5 gigs befor you start geting unstable) if you want to ad any more id suggest geting a 64 bit os(like osx or vista 64).also i think your ram is too fast, make sure your fsb is fast enuph.

  • lol i dought your running at -70c (mabye -70f but thats streatching it) if you can runn that low id suggest geting a POWER5 chip, they are the fastest chips in the wourld, but are WAY hot.

  • -70 C is like my idle temp.

i run like -55 C fully loaded on all 4 cores

  • how?

  • hmm this reply stuff is kinda weird, but i'm guessing you are asking how i get those negative temps.

but um i kinda spent a CRAP LOAD of money on a custom built phase changer made just for a quad core.

This dude on extremeoverclocking DOT com (their forums) called Drew, he makes some pretty nice ones

i mean, it cost me a lot but comparing price to performance, it is much better than those mach 2 and other stuff

  • (continued)But it's basically a high performance blend of refrigerant under a 7/8hp compressor (that's mine, it can go higher) and through 2 condensors.

It pulls all the heat out of the processor making it have super duper cold temps (hahah "duper")

    but yea, that's basically it

  • continued once again,

Mine is basically a high end unit, but there are MUCH better ones, people build one with like 2 compressors and all and they get to like negative 125 C yes, C, i don't really go my farenheit anymore, partially because i can't spell it

  • lol, i got you, but why overclock so much? it would be cheaper just to get a xeon and overclock that. why dont you use xeons?2 dual core xeons are way better then 1 quad core extreme.

  • i just never liked any intel chips besides the core 2 duo/quad/extreme series.

i could easily just put this phase on an AMD Am2 proc. but ehhh i wanna be at the top of the line so i chose a q6600

  • the xeons are intels most powerfull proc. they usethem in servvers, but id like to get a POWER5(also used in servers)but theycost like $5000 for a 10ghz one.

  • 8800 Ultra is overlocked 8800 GTX !!!!

  • Vista Sucks balls. XP is better .. Vista doesint have any good updates and cant do shit on vista

  • my bad 1.8Ghz core 2

  • now i know most of u cant do that, i cannot post a link :(, but if i could i would and you could see how all intel or amd processors compare to each other, even the cheapest core 2 is considerably faster than any P4, u can have a P4 that is 3.0Ghz+ and a 1.6Ghz core 2 will still win the battle

  • p4 sucks donky nuts, i got a 1.8 ghz g5 and it WAY fast. its even 64 bit just like the core2 duo. its a 5 year old proccecor too.

  • yes but they are still only a single-core processor, not a true dual core, not even close.....plz do sum research, or if u have the cash, buy a multithreaded P4, identical to the P4 system(same type/amount of ram etc.)and buy jus bout ne C2D system, then u will see

  • no need to overclock ur cpu yet, no games utilize even the 2.4Ghz. Games anyway, if you do alot of video encoding or some sort of compiling then you should overclock. But if you just game, no reason to do any major overclocking yet. I am leaving mine on 2.4Ghz until i need the extra performance...

  • best thing to do is overclock ur e6600 to 3.4ghz its a great performance boost

  • and fraps allows you to see your fps and u dont need to record to see your fps!, i think that covers it, any more nonsense claims, hit me up.

  • Third, yes more ram will help make the video smoother, more ram helps lower HD usage and any casual gamer knows that wehen u have alot of HD usage it makes your game very jerky. I think that i about covered all of your confused/weird/retarded claims, his system is more than adequate for the game, read the requirements ppl!! It recommends a Pentium D, again.....the core 2 series stomps on them. i guess he said he got more ram, so that helped him i bet..

  • Secondly, fraps lowers your fps to whatever fps u record at, he prolly uses 30fps framerate for the video capture, so thats what fraps brings it down to so u have smooth video, vsync does the same thing, it jus lowers it to ur refresh rate.

  • okay, i am not replying to ANYONE here, jus all of u morons in general. any core 2 duo will stomp any P4, even if u can get a P4 to 4.0Ghz, a core 2 will stomp it nubs. Also the game IS optimized for dual core cpu's so it is a multithreaded game made for dual core procs so dont say a P4 runs it smoother jus because it is a single-core. morons......

  • well pentium 4's can be multithreaded too with the hyperthreading technology.

  • How would you know you get 70 frames per second without FRAPS in your video description? You can't tell how many frames you get without FRAPS!

  • thx so 7300 sucks whos the better card?

  • well i have a 7600GT and i only get around 20fps min settings, but i only have a gig of ram...and a Core 2 Duo E6600(no overclock). id say if u have AGP....u need sum serious upgrading, if u have PCI x16, save up and get an 8800 series card.

  • I have a 2.4 GHz processor with tha 8800GTS 640MB model, and let me tell ya ... that thing plays ANYTHING. This is a good comp, especcially for the amount of money you probably saved getting cheaper parts and overclocking them. Just hope your performance holds up.

  • I'd recommend you get a better processor and ram if you want better performance. Ignore the ppl that say you should upgrade your video card cuz that is just stupid. I have a 8800 gts as well and i play all the latest games MAX with at least 100fps (minimum). And an AMD X2 5600+ with 2 gigs of ram. If you want to asve money just get some more ram which should help alot.

  • hes got fraps on it sucks his fps down

  • man i have anintel core duo 1,86

    2GBram

    nvidia grforce 7300 SE

and this game runs low why answer plz?

  • that'll be the 7300 SE im afraid

  • ur video card can't handle it

with that kind of processor/RAM a better vid card would greatly boost performance

  • yes the problem there is your video crad, everything else is at or above recommended

  • im finish this game . Ubisoft dont care PC players anymore 2 Big patch Came FOr Xbox360 players but still us using full of bug 1.04 version Fuck u MC fuck u Ubisoft!

  • 1.That cpu is dying for an overclock

    2.get another gig of memory

    3.which gts is it

nice frame rate though if it is 70.

  • 1. It is overclocked now to 2.6ghz

    2. I got another gig about a week after the video

    3. Inno3D Geforce 8800GTS 320mb?

  • nice, i was just wondering, you run 19/20" monitor with that 320meg card i guess.

    i guess i will need 640 for 22"

  • great game!!!!!!

    !

    !

    !

    !!

    !

    !

    !

    !

    !

  • hey it stucks OMG!!!

  • youre right that the best thing to do with a dual core under 3ghx is make it over 3 ghz, with overclocking. the higher end E- and X- dual cores are much better processors than the old P4's but all i was saying that for some reason the folks at ubisoft suggest that you have a processor over 3 ghz, whether that means overclocking or using a P4!

  • what? :O,so intel e6700 @ 2,66ghz is a pice of shit, compared to p4 @ 3ghz????,p4 is way to old crap, doesent matter if its a single or dual core(just the architecture is behind the times),you can boil a egg with that thing :D.and so small difference in clock speed dosent give you nothing, you need to overclock your cpu at least 20-25%,or more to get any performance increase

  • for some reason even if you have a dual core processor running below 3 ghz, such as 2.8 ghz, it is not nearly as smooth as a P4 over 3 ghz with the same vid card!

  • There are no dual cores at 1.4ghz per core

  • hey im buildin a new system: c2d E6600, 4x512mb ram, xfx overclocked 8800gts 640mb, evga 680i mobo blah blah blah do u think i can run vegas at 1680x1050?

  • Yes, the 640mb on the gfx will help keep it smooth on large resolutions.

  • thats a cpu problem, game needs at least 3 ghz to run smoothly, some parts of the secenarios need a lot of cpu :| i have a 8800gts 640 2gb ddr800 and an x2 4200 2,4Ghz and it looks the same at that part of the game.

  • It runs smooth through the whole game, it's just the recording software that makes it jump!

  • 1gig RAM did you buy your PC pre-Built of custom?

Could be a lack of RAM that makes it jitter
