If you would like to work out the exact height, you should use the equation of motion. I did it for you and here it is. I mesured the time it took for you to get from the highest point to the water with the stopwatch.(It was
2.35seconds)This is the equation:
Height=0.5 x 9.8 x (2.35)squared.(multiplied by itself.
The first two numbers always stay the same, so you could work it out on an other jump if you like.
The exact height of this jump =25.40 meters, or 83.33 feet.
youre fucking stupid. 1 youre finger stopping a stopwatch isnt going to be accurate at all. if you change the time in second by a tenth of a second you get a significant change in height. 2 rounding the acceleration of gravity and the time will fuck the result over completely. you need to be way more accurate to get an answer close to being accurate. 3 ive jumped this and it more like 65 feet. and for the other kid, forward motion doesnt affect the freefall for shit, dumbass.

Also you can measure his height. But only if you know the speed he is falling at. (Like mph or kmph). youre all fucking retarded. your forward motion doesnt make the fall any longer, gravity never stops. upward motion, yes. but not forward motion. also, you cant measure his height by his freefall time unless you have a stopwatch that goes to like ten thousandths of a second so stop acting like you know anything.

Technically no. Thats why planes don't out of the sky until they stop moving. if you take a running jump. Momentum will carry you foreword, before the 9.80665 m / s2 of the earths grav takes effect. You will last longer in the air, than if you just drop. Shortest distance between 2 points = straight line. If momentum carries you foreward, and down. Thats diagonal.

Also you can measure his height. But only if you know the speed he is falling at. (Like mph or kmph). Also having a stopwatch that goes to like ten thousandths of a second has absolutely to do with nothing. And for the record, that is also why bullets don't drop. Because they are moving foreword, though gravity will effect it, it gets pulled down slower. Seriously, this is like..10th grade physics.

oh my god i love how stupid you are. 1 planes stay up due to aerodynamics and lift, dumbass. true the fast forward motion is what gets the plane off the ground, but because it gets air moving over the wings, which creates lift. i'd get into why that happens but your too retarded. and secondly (if in a vacuum) bullets hit the ground just as fast when shot from a gun as they do if dropped. it might take slightly longer due to aerodynamics again, but forward motion doesnt effect the time it falls.

Is everything that is either shot, thrown or propelled foreward and how it takes slightly longer to hit the ground due to aerodynamics?Any form of projectile ever used? Including arrows and random peices of junk stuffed into barrels of things such as patato guns. If you were to DROP something on the spot as to propelling something foreward. The one that didn't move will fall first.

with them running and jumping out wards this will not make their time in the air longer as the distance from where they are to the water is still the same the only way they will stay longer in the air is if they run and jump upwards and out cause that makes the distance between them and the water further
