It seems like novel fans tend to hope for more of the same thing when their novels are made into movies, but many such movies turn out otherwise. Ppl need to remember that movie is simply another interpretation beyond the original authorr's perspective. Giberishes aside, the movie is the best since back to the future series :)

-The team had not 6 hours, they had 3 days and they spent this time at 1357

-They had microphones and earphones, Deckard got Gomez's earphone

-Robert Deckard had a seroius rewriting mistake which made him very aggressive

-Claire isn't the sister of Arnaut, she is an English noblewoman

-Chris kills Deckard, not Marek

-Arnaut who was a real character, was a cruel mercenary and a former monk

-Chris found the grave of Marek in England

-Chris is not the son of Johnston, his name is Hughes and he is historian

-Kramer is a woman and former lover of Doniger

-Francois does not exist, Marek speaks occitan

-Gomez is a woman

-Doniger has not died in a battle, Gordon the VP of the company sent him to 1348 to the age of Black Death

-Barretto brings to 1357 modern weapons

-Sir Guy de Malagent who is a negative character in the book was eliminated from the moovie.

Gerard Butler was great in the movie. You feel that Merek really does fall in love with Claire.

But the Chris character (one of the main characters) was boring and the plot was rushed in my opinion.

Overall a good movie though, and highly entertaining if you don't take it too seriously and question it to much!
