@zykos1 Global Agenda is one of many. There's also much older mmorpgs that came out BEFORE wow. So therefor they can't be a rip off nor a copy since they were there before wow.

@GuildWar2Ranger Riftstalker is mostly a defensive/running soul. That 10% crit from phase shifts isn't that great for a ranged soul, considering ho many points you have to sink in a soul that doesn't otherwise boost your dps/burst. It cannot be kept up constantly and you waste a GCD every time you use a port. I use infil a lot because of the ~10% to pvp damage, plus focused intent (up to an extra 20% more pvp damage), plus anathema (recent patch changed it to function just like fellblades).

yes agreed Rift would be cool with arena. But at what sacrifice, Rift has a very different gear-skill ratio of success than WoW. Literally it would be Brutal glad VS glad(in WoW terms). The higher rank pvp gear in rift is the biggest handicap ive seen in MMO pvp.

I don't see how you pull off these 1v2/3, What patch was this? What is "bloodthirsty" that is healing you for so much. What kind of gear are you in compared to your oponets? It looks like you're taking almost no damage. In my expeirence playing a very decently geared rogue (currently patch 1.2) and in p4 gear. I can't for the life of me 1v2. I'm a pretty decent pvp player. And *clicks like* for rammstein, My favorite band of all time.
guys WoW and LoL and HoN are games of the past Rift is the Present and the Future of gaming and if you say it won't last look at the drop of players from WoW LoL and HoN and look at the daily amount of players Rift is gaining
@tzerocs Are you level 50? if so what calling do you play? and how geared are you. Because I can speak from several different classes callings perspectivs that this game does not have it's pvp down. For example. On my rogues marksman pvp build, I can demolish people in much better gear than me in seconds, and still have amazing escape mechanics. But on my warrior who is in p4/5 gear, I can get destroyed by almost anything. Because snares are always on DR and everyone bunnyhops away.

@LUVmyROXAS only warriors and frost mages can blow people up in high rated arena... the rest you can outheal with a fing holy shock as paladin. so don´t even come here saying its slow paced when this guys blows people up..

If anyone buys this game, (which I recommend not doing) they should roll cleric or mage. Game is soooooo unbalanced it puts KFC, Spell cleave, S5 dk's in wow all to shame how unbalanced those were/are.... Its worse than vanilla wow, no skill involved, just play a pyro mage and 1 shot everything in sight.
@Dammination Everything has a counter in this game...Seems to me like you are the type to QQ because your class isnt god mode. Apparently since everything does have a counter,rift is not your game and wow is for you. Just roll a frost mage or warrior and faceroll everything.

@Dammination I love rift pvp, only lvl 44 SIN rogue. Only cleric I have to use every utility i have is the healy ones. Pyro's are just to easy to kill. I assume you played a warrior? Well, if you don't like getting rolled by clerics/mages go void knight. Plain and simple, simple and plain. I'm only lvl 44, so can't say how 50 pvp is. And trolol wow is not balanced. People still cry about warlocks fear,dots and self heals. So they get nerfed to shit. Balanced? no
@Owiepapercut 44 pvp is very different than that at 50 - as at 50, 'resilience' comes into play. I didn't say WoW was balanced, I was saying WoW was much more balanced than Rift. Going void knight to fight casters only brings the inevitable - a slow fight that lasts until something comes along. The majority of melee pvp is being tank spec and being the objective carrier. Not sure how things are since the patch today, but for those still playing, its hopefully better.
Use this macro instead of all your bindings seperate, much easier and more efficient! I play on regulos and role the same specs as you. Mostly nighblade though solely for the survivability( can take on 4 ppl at once) enjoy man! and very nice video!

This game is dead, I played starting with beta 3 through the first month of launch, PVP is bland and very weak, Crafting has no reason behind because no one buys your shit in the AH and the crafting system is just weak, Everyone had purps on and every Purp is pretty much obtainable, Trion is lazy when it comes to dungeons by just adding a expert choice to the same dungeon Greenscale is very weak raid, beat 1 boss port to the front of dungeon start over to get to the next boss. Trion is lazy.
Not sure why the pyro in the Warfront didn't use flicker and the 8 second root with the no damage break talent bonus - but nice vid. Shame all the best stealth mechanics are in assassin - running slow in rift stealth mode on a 30 sec timer is meh - but you make it work.
@displiff Anything BUT bland. Combat in here makes Aion's look like pong. Eye candy is just eye candy, and a good pvp/combat system goes much farther. I didn't just choose RIFT because I got bored with Aion.
@displiff i thought the same thing too when i first started playing. but it looks a lot better when you are actually playing the same. videos don't do it justice at all. i will admit its not as flashy as some games but most of those that have flashy combat do it needlessly anyway.
@xynth101088 Yah the videos are always low quality with Fraps which is what I use because the in game video recorder just eats up too much memory. The game looks great at top settings, way better than WoW, and it's getting past that buggy launch period all MMO's go through.
Still even a beast as a sin in Rift, just got some time to try it out myself and can't wait to pvp. Keep on keepin on with the vids, always good to watch.
what an awful game Rift was ... I quit after 2 weeks @ level 50. This video just farther assures me that quitting was the right decision. It just looks awful.

Haha, I wonder what your rogue can do now at 1.2. I'm from Seastone PvP server, and I have yet to meet a rogue that can beat me 1 on 1. In 1.1 it was real easy to kill them, now 1.2 takes a lil more attention. I'm a cleric almost Rank 6. Can't wait till open rvr comes out and merges more servers together.

@LUVmyROXAS only warriors and frost mages can blow people up in high rated arena... the rest you can outheal with a fing holy shock as paladin. so don´t even come here saying its slow paced when this guys blows people up..

If anyone buys this game, (which I recommend not doing) they should roll cleric or mage. Game is soooooo unbalanced it puts KFC, Spell cleave, S5 dk's in wow all to shame how unbalanced those were/are.... Its worse than vanilla wow, no skill involved, just play a pyro mage and 1 shot everything in sight.

@Dammination Everything has a counter in this game...Seems to me like you are the type to QQ because your class isnt god mode. Apparently since everything does have a counter,rift is not your game and wow is for you. Just roll a frost mage or warrior and faceroll everything.

Sorry, but if you think this game is more balanced than World of Warcraft, you're on crack. I'll give Trion this, they are working on an attempt to balance their mistake and are patching nearly every other day. Along with that another world event on the horizon. Still not worth $60 if you are a pvper.

@Dammination No, sin rogue...kinda why I watched the video...Only clerics I have a problem with is healers, and pyros are just to easy to kill. Not lvl 50 yet, so can't say how it is. But wow is no where closed to balanced. People cry about fear when it breaks almost instantly, so they nerf warlocks, over and over. People complain about frost mages....and they buff them, every single patch.Sounds balanced to me... And as I said, people bitch because there class isnt god mode.

@Dammination I love rift pvp, only lvl 44 SIN rogue. Only cleric I have to use every utility i have is the healy ones. Pyro's are just to easy to kill. I assume you played a warrior? Well, if you don't like getting rolled by clerics/mages go void knight. Plain and simple, simple and plain. I'm only lvl 44, so can't say how 50 pvp is. And trolol wow is not balanced. People still cry about warlocks fear,dots and self heals. So they get nerfed to shit. Balanced? no

@Owiepapercut 44 pvp is very different than that at 50 - as at 50, 'resilience' comes into play. I didn't say WoW was balanced, I was saying WoW was much more balanced than Rift. Going void knight to fight casters only brings the inevitable - a slow fight that lasts until something comes along. The majority of melee pvp is being tank spec and being the objective carrier. Not sure how things are since the patch today, but for those still playing, its hopefully better.

Use this macro instead of all your bindings seperate, much easier and more efficient! I play on regulos and role the same specs as you. Mostly nighblade though solely for the survivability( can take on 4 ppl at once) enjoy man! and very nice video!
The macro is /cast puncture /cast backstab /cast savage strike

This game is dead, I played starting with beta 3 through the first month of launch, PVP is bland and very weak, Crafting has no reason behind because no one buys your shit in the AH and the crafting system is just weak, Everyone had purps on and every Purp is pretty much obtainable, Trion is lazy when it comes to dungeons by just adding a expert choice to the same dungeon Greenscale is very weak raid, beat 1 boss port to the front of dungeon start over to get to the next boss. Trion is lazy.

Not sure why the pyro in the Warfront didn't use flicker and the 8 second root with the no damage break talent bonus - but nice vid. Shame all the best stealth mechanics are in assassin - running slow in rift stealth mode on a 30 sec timer is meh - but you make it work.
