  • Powerful stuff.

  • You ca no beat the raw talent and lyrics... Lucinda packs a sweet punch with this one!

  • Love love!

  • thank you. I was 9 the first time i tried to get out. 31 years later i'm still here. Nightmares of the past and all. I feel like you wrote my story in a song. My step-sister that was part of my nightmarish past sent me this. She said it was me and now that we are trying to pick up the pieces, She is the only one I show my sweet side now. I wish i could meet Lucinda, just to say thank you.

  • Sorry, you can add a dobro, but that aint country! It's Rap!

  • @oscarshwartz what's the problem, call it country/rap, call it what you want, it's great!

  • @oscarshwartz Who cares what you call it, it's good music.

  • great luci

  • One of my faves - what a great song. The version on "Live At The Filmore" is AWESOME!

  • This song makes me cry every time, I swear...

  • I can always relate to this song...It's like it's about me....

  • Just another LW song that touches all the bases. If you didn't know better you'd swear she grew up a dirt poor share-croppers daughter. Tremendous talent! BTW the guitar player kicks ass!

  • This song, I swear is about me and my life...I even have the stomach pains she's mentioned. Fits me to a T...What a great songwriter!

  • I love Lucinda Williams! My step mom is really good friend of her's!

  • I love you, Lucinda! Keep it up!

  • This is my favorite look for her with the blonde hair and the cowboy hat. Looking like a girl but not trying to be a girly girl. It's also nice when she is sober enough to remember / read the words and you can understand what she's saying.

  • She's so amazing in so many ways.

  • I can dig it :-I

  • thanks for posting this video !

  • Amazing song from one amazing songwriter, love this.

  • I like her music; because she is firmly based on all kinds of American music; blues, folk, R&R, country, etc. That's what I feel from all the talented musicians in America.

  • me too...

  • Thanks so much for posting this !!!!!

I can relate to this on a thousand levels.

    be well,

    Trav
