It was a crash, the sensor bar was working fine and so is the Wii still.

lol its easy. just hold the power button til its red then reactivate the console, sometimes i freeze like that or sometimes in the message board/ sometimes rock band 2 but rarely. lol

that happens to me. it freezes and a loud never-ending beep sound goes off and u can't turn it off unless if you unplug it and plug it back in

why is the light red mine is orange

Orange light = standby with wii-connect24 enabled

red light= standby without wii-connect24

I do use wii-connect24, so i can get msg's, when it's in standby mode, but if you turn off by holding down the power button it will go into standby without wii-connect24 (red light)

@Erroneuz to simplify, orange = standby or normal shutoff.

red = shutdown from error, by force,(hold down green light) or unplugged then plugged in or battery shortage lol

It was just a crash, never happend again btw.
