The fact is we don't need meat because our body is designed for plants and can get just about everything we need from plant source except B-12 which is not from animals but found in dirt (bacteria). There are some people who have immense empathy for animals and that is why we can feel their pain and some of the suffering becomes too disturbing and painful. Have you have felt sorrow for someone, I don't mean just sad but real from the gut sadness that you can feel their pain. That is what we feel with our animals. As for me, I felt it more towards the "food" animals and animal that are being hunted.

(This is my sisters account) We own 3 cows (1 whitch gave birth a few months ago) and they are raised on a 24 acurs of free land for them. they ARE dairy cows, but when the one gave birth, we let er and her baby stay for as long as they live. The fact is we don't need meat because our body is designed for plants and can get just about everything we need from plant source except B-12 which is not from animals but found in dirt (bacteria). Veggie are washed too well for us to get it but meat is dirty so that is why its found in the stomach of the cow.

The eating of animals was put in the bible by man or as they call it the "corrector". If God wanted man to eat meat God would have designed our body for such. Why do we have such long pocketed intestine which is terrible for meat because it will sit for long period of time and bacteria and putrid garbage seeps thruout our body? I had just come out of a deep meditation and went to the Fridge for a snack, there was a Roast marinating in there, I picked up the plate to move it out of the way,and suddenly all the feelings of the Cow being led to slaughter FLOODED my Consciousness, I felt IT's FEELINGS, and it did NOT want to die !That instant , out of love for the Cow, I made a soul level decision to NOT eat meat ever again .
That was in 1978 and I've never gone back.

There are some people who have immense empathy for animals and that is why we can feel their pain and some of the suffering becomes too disturbing and painful. Have you have felt sorrow for someone, I don't mean just sad but real from the gut sadness that you can feel their pain. That is what we feel with our animals. As for me, I felt it more towards the "food" animals and animal that are being hunted.

no, humans are what we call omnivores, as are most primates. This means we get our food from a variety of sources, including grains, seeds and nuts, leafy green type sources, and MEAT.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not for modern factory farming practices, or animal cruelty, but let's be frank here; humans are much kinder to the animals when we slaughter them than other animals are. We don't chase them down and rip them to shreds, we don't play with them, or eat them live. Those other animals do.

Primates are frugivores and their diet is over 95% plants. The meat eating is not about diet but sexual. Why is it that meat eaters and hunters type have to bring up wild meat eating animals. They are carnivores and if they don't kill they will die. Also if you notice when carnivores kill they go for the neck and try to bring down the animals as quickly as possible for they want to eat. That is how they work by nature.

Consumer demand to have it now and super size it causes USDA slaughter rules to be bent or disregarded. Do what you can as an individual. I am making a stand for change in Hardee's Angus and Perdue Chicken farming community. I say in simplest terms. we shall raise our own meat ( according to the family) and sow our own garden. We should work to provide ourselves and our family rather than someone else harshly provide for us all.. I live with a dog who was given a second chance by my husband. she was emaciated and had the tits of having pups recently. He gave her, her second chance and she became a wonderful animal. There are so many ways to put an animal down quickly, but these videos show none of them.

cows r domesticated they cannot survive in the wild.. they r meat to be killd and eaten and think about this... animals that are being raised back to health such as injured wolfvs, lions, tiger, wild dogs all get fead theire share of cow meat.

Thanks for the vid dandelion45. Like almost all people I love meat and the taste of it, but at what cost? I also love animals and hate to see them suffer, I tried a vegan diet a week ago and to be honest I feel healthier.

I am not putting down the vegan way of life but I do hate it when a different point of view tries to impose it on others.
We all have the right to choose, be it meat or veggies. But, plants feel and have intelligence also.

Then, get that man and tell him to write about something he saw either in life or dream and tell a different man to do the same on the same thing or dream.

Early man used to be several kins. Several of them were scavengers. Some of the kins was also Cannibals. The teeth of the Humans was designed to peel flesh of bones and the molars for crushing bones. The scavenging ones developed hunting arts when tools were invented(spears, fire etc)
Herbivores can't simply start to eat meat. It doesn't work with the digestive system.

Can you see my comment? Do you have to turn your head to see the entire PC screen? I doubt it. Humans have their eyes placed in the front of the face. Carnivores have their eyes placed like that. Herbivores have their eyes placed on the sides.
Carnivores need their eyes to be like that so that they can focus on a prey right in front of them. Herbivores has their eyes on the sides so that they can spot danger easier.

Now as far as our diet, YOU are able to CHOOSE your way of life because of thousands of years of hunting and surviving. Our "Predator" instinct is what allowed humans to survive.
Many of the plants that nourish well is because of Humans and not of natures control. Mans evolution is ongoing and meat will always be part of it.

If that was the case we would all be doing it with no problem, we are hungry we can go out and kill a rabbit or squirrel but we don't because that is not our "nature" to do so. Some countries its becomes a norm to kill animals for food but that is being programed, not because its "natural". Meat have all those preservatives and pretty coloring because in reality after a day of dead carcass the real color is grey. Try eating the flesh in that color without any seasoning. I bet you wont say the same but true flesh eaters would find it delicious.

Yes I have seen fresh slaughtered cow and have eaten its meat. Truthfully, I love it fresh and after a day, the color does not go away.
You can dry meat which takes many days and it retains a dark red to brown color.
Between Cattle, Chicken, Turkey, Goat, Sheep, Deer, Rabbit, and Pigs; I don't like to kill pigs and it is not because of the animal but because of the smell of there blood. I just can't stand it.

(This is my sisters account) We own 3 cows (1 whitch gave birth a few months ago) and they are raised on a 24 acurs of free land for them. they ARE dairy cows, but when the one gave birth, we let er and her baby stay for as long as they live. WE do not kill them for meat! they are MY cows and I will do WHATEVER I want (that inclues letting them live a healthy, loving, fair life. god forbid) 5:11 breaks my heart!
