I'm of Celtic parentage and my girlfriend is from Spain. A couple of weeks back a family from the Lebannon i'd been helping to stay in the country who had fled their homeland due to living in the middle of a warzone had their application turned down. The look on the face of their 11 year old boy when i told the family they were going back to a life of explosions and major civil unrest is one i'll never forget. I'm of Celtic parentage and my girlfriend is from Spain. Where i live there is a Bangladeshi family to one side (couldn't wish for better neighbours - friendly, helpful, considerate) and a white couple to the other (also really nice people). When i walk down the street i see restaurants offering a wide choice of different foods. I see gay couples, straight couples, mixed race couples, groups of friends who are from all walks of life.

London is black & white, gay & straight, muslim, catholic, jewish etc, people from all walks of life and experience. Its a great place to live and Ken, a man of strength and courage the likes of which is alien to cowardly fascists like the BNP, has been and will continue to be a great mayor. Vote Livingstone!
