@funguy7979 Well mine is 98 mitsubishi Diamante 3.5L 6g74 with stock 260hp but it can hold alot of power right now, I have the motor, exaust, intake, plugs and wires, and computer. so maybe 275 280hp right now but with any new motor swap your gunna have issues so im working on getting everything fixed and changed outright now. oh BTW im 18 years old XDD lol

Ive been working on these cars for years. And yes it is on more than the montero, its on a mitsubishi pajero/shogun along with a few other small suv's - you can do a conversion however if u customize the oil pan along ith a few mounts. you cant bore the 6g74 to a full 3.6l....the only option is stroking to get that displacement which is of no advantage...

the 1991 VR4 had a 5 speed Getrag, which is what I have, the 1994 had a 6 speed Getrag. The only problems associated with these cars originated in the transfer case, which is not the transmission but people often mistake a t-case problem for a tranny problem.
