@saphirejewelscoward He is only brushed a lot during shedding season. If a malamute has a good diet (including fresh meat and bones) then the coat will look after itself.

@lovelimyran Malamutes do quite well in warm climates as the coat insulates them from heat. Their native Alaska has hot humid summers too. I take mine swimming as often as I can during summer.
@minhduy322 No not at all. Shaving messes with their coats something terrible - never shave a dog with a double coat! But swimming is absolutely fine.
@iDar3u2n0tcliCkm3 Depends on the circumstances. Are they both males? Are they intact? Are they both on leash and forced to confront each other head on? Seriously you should go to a dog behaviour site or read a book - this is all pretty basic stuff.
All of my malamutes have come from outside Sydney. You could try Dogzonline website for listings, but make sure that the parents aren't closely related (one Sydney breeder tried to sell a brother/sister paired litter and then admitted she does a lot of father/daughter line breeding).
