I'm wondering with the amount of kick that's got how hard is it to handle with the ignitor in the end cap? I build mine pistol grip style using a 4X4X1 1/2 side outlet. Add a 4" long "handle", and a screw on cap to the bottom. I get my ignitors from the cheap lighters at wal mart, you know the charcol grill ones. By the way, you can also use the butane tank from them as a launch fuel.

@amirEOH I have never had any trouble out of having a screw on barrell. This way you can select what size of barrell you can use for what ever diameter of object your plan on fireing. Some might say different but I allways do it this way.

I have used denatured alcohol in one before. makes a huge sound and stays in the air for about 30 seconds and blew a hole through the fence in my friends back yard. if the gun will take it, its one of the best fuels i have discovered. sometimes you may need to let a little more air in before you cap it when using the denatured alcohol.

pretty sweet but way too long, make the barrel 3 1/2ft long and put a handle at the end of the barrel with a grill pilot starter (exactly like you have) as a trigger ( so the combustion chamber rests on your shoulder) basicly like a bazooka. thats how mine is, it helps tremendously with aim and looks/feels waay cooler to shoot haha jus some tips frm a fellow backyard destruction enthusiast

Hard to tell in that video how powerful the potato gun is. Mine has a much smaller chamber and barrel, and with propane will launch a potato 200-300 yards every time.

Also - it sounds like you have some neat pistols. Take no offense to this - I'm a gun owner, hunter, collector. But I am grateful to live in a place where nobody walks around with guns strapped to their hips - they wouldn't need to anyway.
