  • did u make this?????and if so i want to buy it!!

  • Are you the SubShot? O_O

  • You sampled "808 state"

  • nice, after a slightly weak start. this is done on playstation software? a mighty well done, its very convincing. hope u will take it all further

  • Nice mix mate, sounds awesome! :)

  • Fantastic !!

  • U made this on playstation 1 o.o

  • very nice

  • LOVE IT.......

  • Dude! Props to you for doing this on the playstation.

  • music 2000 is good game

  • playstation?

  • Yeah...Drums are sampled into the playstation then chopped.

  • Very nice in the background.

  • this is so gooood, i use the same program but your tunes are so much better then mine... way to go man!

  • great tune mate, i used to make tunes using MTV Music Generator 3 but i could never figure out how to save them as files on my computer, does anyone know how i could do that ?

  • just get your red & white phono (L&R audio)jacks that go to your scart socket from the ps2...connect them to your computers sound card....or run the audio & video out from your ps2 through a dvd recorder..record on to dvd then extract the audio from it on the computer.

  • Sweet tuna!!

  • This is, Intelligent DnB at its best. What an inspirational choon. Nice one!

  • this is cool

  • 5:45 BEST!

  • Still loving this mate..

  • i remember making tunes on MUSIC 2000!!! I loved it for ages, made heaps of songs, this was like 7 years ago... now im usin FL Studio and have some hardware...

  • Classic oldskool drums i hear there. Bet that took u a while to get em spot on! Ive uploaded a few of my created tunes if you ever wanna check em out.

  • takes a while because there is no auto slice and no timestretch... so you have to match the bpm of the whole track to the breaks by ear...but have both sampled breaks at the same tempo...can be tricky.Unless you manage to chop em up into individual hits...but you can only cut one hit from a break at a time ...no slice markers...so getting it to sound good without gaps is hard..fun & worth it though :)

    Thanks!

  • oh i just said a random word and posted a comment cause i was bored. I think this is an amazing song

  • a random word? Are you a computer?

    lol

  • well i guess we all are computers in the end.....

  • 010001111010010001001001110010001001100101001010010100010001001001001010 - just pick a word - lol

  • you are junk

  • how did you write that text/font in headline?

  • i just copied & pasted it from a text file on my computer.

  • Lol... Ok, for music maker.

Check out my stuff for DnB,House,HipHop n Electronica too.

All selfmade with my keyboard / sequencer.

    Peace

  • si me entienden o no, me vale verga, adoro el drum and bass

  • I think I might be having issues with creating my own DnB/Jungle because I am trying to do everything from scratch... no samples...

My problem is the timing... I can't get a snare to be perfectly played at the right moment without it being on 1/2 2/4 3/4 4/4

  • What are you using?

  • Reason 4.0

    Garageband

    Beatmaker on iPod Touch

Beatmaker work like the REDRUM on Reason...

    It's really really good...

But as I said, I don't know how to play samples or sounds whenever I want...

I only know how to "paint" them in or program them but it will always hit on a timing...

The only thing that helps it mildly is use a track with 32 slots and double the speed... It improves the timing of the sound by 50%, but it's still not WHEN I WANT it...

    You get what I mean?

  • well...i don't use the software you mentioned....but if you draw the notes in a piano roll.....if you have the snap settings set to 1/4 beat(every beat has 4 steps)...then you shouldn't have a problem...if you are recording them in played on a keyboard/drum pad ect..then try setting the snap to none..then change back to 1/4 before quantizing...(if you want to).

  • I don't think you understand what I mean...

What if I want a snare on step 3.5? Get what I mean?

Like breakbeats that are all over the place!

I will try the quantizing thing... Care to explain why it wouldnt change when you quantize?

  • if you use no snap setting then you can place/record notes anywhere....Quantizing will move the notes to the nearest step depending on your snap setting.

For playing live....use no snap to grid.

  • THANK YOU!

I just started trying to do more complex beats so they sound more natural you know what I mean?

Like add ghost notes, but they always played at the same time as the closest snare, so it just mixed in and was useless...

    Thanks alot man!

    Keep it up!

    Keep it going!

    Keep it coming!

    -Philip Han

  • all the hits in this beat would work in a 1/4 beat snap setting.....if you want to place notes/hits anywhere out of the box...then just use no snap setting.

  • You can`t miss the perfect timing if you use a tracker(example:Renoise)

  • WOW ! ! !

    It's SHAREWARE?!

Jeez! Thank you very much kind sir!

Now, how do I use this? hahaha

I am back to Garageband for now since it does use Quantizing and it is dead simple for now!

  • At 2:30 the bass 808's are just mindblowing!!!

    JUNGLE FOR EVER ! ! !

  • Nearly 18,000 views...

    Go on my son!!

  • ha ha!

  • broth i remmeber music 2000 made some wicked tunes on it.. love yr drums!!

  • never heard about MUSIC 2000, but you know how to work with it!

    ever considered using FL studio?

    anyway nice job!

  • yeah..music 2000 is a quality little programme..It got alot of ppl into creating music that would not have even given it a thought otherwise.

fl studio is what i use now...though i still use this sometimes ; )

  • nice i like it

  • You made dis on ps1?? man.

that is just by far the most ghetto thing going and its fucking class!

playstation one best console going haha

and savage song!! wa d fuck is intelligent jungle?

  • Thanks.

glad you get the point on this. Playstation one rules for music production..lol

the word "intelligent" in dnb..is usually used to describe complex break patterns..and ambient/atmospheric dnb/jungle..

i just put it in the title to get views!....lol

    (its working ; )

  • Fair enough.

I admit i'm not good with melodies...as for sound quality...I recorded the track from the playstation one..on to a dvd...then extracted the audio from it on my comp...I didn't have any recording/editing software.

it is long..i made it in two parts...then joined the two together...ended up a bit too long maybe.Oh well...still learning ; )

  • very nicely done i love those drums xD

  • Amezing! Give us more plzzzz!!!!! :)

  • fucking LOVEEE those drums =D

  • DAMN IT .. Didnt think of doing it that way ! Cheers for the info ! *WOOHOO*

  • How did you manage to get Music 2000 songs onto here???

  • I recorded it through a dvd recorder...Then i extracted a .wav file from the dvd on my laptop.....There are other ways of doing this though....Check the TIMGUL site for lots of info + more.....A Llnk to TIMGUL is in my channel ; )

  • It had its parts but, overall,it was a little messy imo. A 5/5 start though!

  • 2nd part of what i was going to say = , i'm no pro myself I just like to mess around and make songs for fun like yourself and I've always wanted honest criticism from people :) I may put a track of mine up some time and you could feel free to rip into it yourself :D

  • Orgasmic once again, added this and your other stuff into my Music/MTVMG playlist on my channel. Amazing work again.

  • Nice,Nice!!!I'll get round to doing a music series playlist at some point=)

  • This song is fucking awesome, love the drums, hard as fuck, added to faves :P

  • didnt like this one as much as your other mix but its still good

  • Thanks!! This one is more about the chopped up breaks than atmospherics.

  • Inspiring stuff..you must have strong will to have completed this track, glad you did. Excellent!

  • Thanks 147 Crew!! I started with sampling and editing the drums,The sound of that alone drove me to complete it.

  • Maybe i'll try with some sampling? Got some good ones..is a bit time consuming but when you can produce sounds such as this..

  • Nice!!Look foward to hearing it.Just a little tip,you may already know this. When sampling a 1 bar break, once ive trimmed it i then add loop to it,then paste it the whole length of an 8 bar riff then paste two of these riffs in the sequencer one after the other.that way when i play them both back in the sequencer i can get the bpm perfect.

  • Cheers, hopefully give it a go..looking forward to more of your creations.

  • very nice start man!!all is nice..good work!!

  • Glad you like it,Thanks!

  • This is good! The breaks are nicely edited. Why aren't you using software on a computer? it is easier!

  • Thanks!!!This is the programme that started me off,Ive tried cubase before but i prefered this because i could get an idea down pretty quick.Though it has its limitis ie: no plug-ins.Its Very user friendly!

  • 1 bar i know is so mad lol

  • i do like it well done

  • Thanks!!I think using sampled sounds and created sounds, using all the Functions music 2000 has to offer is great.More ppl should try this!!

  • Sounds like this was a bit of a nightmare to make. It's paid off though. Nice work with them samples.

  • Yeah man,had to have the whole tune loaded so i could get the sound right, but because i could only save one file at a time it was a case of building parts for the first file then deleating all parts of the second file to make it fit on the memory card, then re-loading the whole tune again, repeating the whole proccess again with the second file.over and over again!!!Glad its done:)

  • Good beat!

Sometimes the toms/beat sounds like Bong-Ra...

    That's a true junglebeat man!

  • Yeah,Its amazing what you can do with a 1 bar drum loop. Thanks!!!:)
