  • Cuanta sabiduria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice video..If you want see mine wooden dummy too..

    /watch?v=UkhyhZzxIlk

  • anyone know if ip chun is still living and teaching?

  • @dmd54

    still living and teaching

  • @hasjfa yes.

  • thats so sick how bruce lee's master is still alive but i cant belive somebody killed bruce lee

  • @kungfucritic hay mr cop if you did you job right there would not be any thugs running around. and for your info wing chun has saved me several times and is the most effective form of kung fu

  • Are you a retired police officer or ex-?

Makes a difference as to my next post.

  • I like this. Wing Chun is a awesome art and of of the best To me!

  • Sweet, great video!

  • what a sifu !!!!! respect

  • 不丁不八, 飛掙, 上馬合腳, 有上無下, 刁盡父架

  • Spell Check: Sifu Leoau Yeung.

  • Lame ? How many people expect to face life and death in combat in their whole lives ??? Just because you can hit a ball on a driving range doesn't mean you are any good when you play a round at the golf range ! Get real, street thugs carry weapons or firearms........as an ex police officer how many victims have you come across who have escaped with their lives using WC ?

  • I understand your reasoning. However WC (MA likewise) isn't solely for combat however enhancing the way of life, it improves the well being and mental health of an individual, many people view martial arts as a way for combat (which really is generalizing and seeing one side of a coin).

  • trophies cabinets and belts do not belong in martial arts. Lets keep that crap in the for the American schools that claim to teach karate and kung fu together like the one down the street that has fat instructors and lets other students teach the class.

  • Belts are ok in MA'rts such as Bjj or Judo as they are a good indication of a students skill level. Its just that some kung fu schools use it more a means to make money ! Dont take it too serious, trophies still represents achievement. Afterall you can play tennis to relax and for recreation, or you can strive to win a prize ! Its a free world so no need to get all rubbed up over it dude ! Also its not just the US schools...........

  • @kungfucritic hay mr cop if you did you job right there would not be any thugs running around. and for your info wing chun has saved me several times and is the most effective form of kung fu

  • If you live in London & would like to learn real Wing Chun like this, then come to South Wimbledon Community Centre, Monday nights, where Sifu Loeau Yeung (a Grandmaster Ip Chun, Grandmaster Ip Ching & Master Samuel Kwok Student) will teach you.

  • Grand Master Yip Man!

    very good

    nice

  • a true master who all shud respect to the end.

Wing Chun for life. J. Ryan

  • You know the masters by the casual clothes they wear.

  • Again I witness 'Masters' who seem to move like their Father, but is that all that is similar?

  • He just shows us what GM Ip Man's techniques are. Proper Lineage is very important!!

  • Proper Lineage only matter most for those who cant fight. For those who can then its the number of trophies a club has that matters !

  • Yeah, I love WingChun and I know people who can use it to kick ass but there was a lot of bullshit in there

  • trophies huh? i've never seen a trophy at a kung fu school- do they keep them near the black belts?

  • knwoing ur lineage is more den dat it shows to da person were der fighting style came from and da history of ur wing chung

  • Trophies!?! That's lame. Having been a Martial Artist for forty years and still training, a Viet Nam era vet and now a retired police officer, the Big Trophy is going home to see your loved ones. Life and Death kid, life and death.

  • respect to old sifus.....

  • can you still get this on dvd

  • a good tape. though i never was to keen on the start of it, seemed a bit cheesy. the content does have a lot of good info, having been fortunate enough to attend a few ip chun seminares. He never fails to amaze

  • Is that Ron Heimberger and Garner Train in the video with him?

  • Sorry, don't know - it was filmed about 10+ years ago.

  • Not too sure, this stuff was filmed 10+ years ago.

  • No, in the background is Michael Tze. Playing Chi Sao are Dave Carnell (JKD), Danny Connor and then Martin Brierley (Sam Kwok student)

  • I'm lucky enough to be a student with Martin Brierly now. Martin is probably the most experienced practitioner in Britain with over 35 years training and has been a live-in student for several years with both Ip brothers and has also toured with both. Today he teaches privately, but also in the University of Leeds Wing Chun club of which I am the founding president.

    Anyway, that's enough bragging!

    Love this vid!

  • My Sifu and Martin are Kung Fu brothers and he speaks highly of him. They trained alongside each other In Leeds in 1979 and have remained good friends ever since. My Sifu is now the most senior student of GM Ip Chun and certifying officer of the Ip Chun Wing Chun Martial Arts Association and good friend of Mater Ip Ching. I am lucky enough to assist him teaching

And that's enough of my bragging...lol

  • ...is that Shaun Rawcliffe? I've heard stories about him and Martin! lol!

Yeah, def, they are 'brothers' - Martin speaks highly of Shaun too.

  • @wuxiasnake After reviewing the whole video I did not see either Ron Heimberger or Garner Train in the video. Sorry, it's not them.

  • whats the name of the song at the beginning?

  • ip chun perfection.

  • Thanks I might do that.

  • type in steve powell on google and his website will come up ok m8 take care bye

  • Wow.... very impressive - these are all guys I have heard of, and have excellent backgrounds.

  • both dan and larry hartsell were bruce lees friends and training partner rick faye, rick young, erik paulson and paul vunak are all dan inosantos students roycie gracie is very famous in ufc and master sken is based in stockport and rick young is in scotland if u live in machester steve powell has been trained by some of them in jeet kune do and filipino-kali u should look it up

  • Yes, I think that's correct.

  • it is a very effective martial art my instructor has been trained by some of the best in the world in muay-thai he was trained by master sken in filipino-kali brazilian jiu jitsu and jeet kune do he has been trained and graded by rick faye, rick young, paul vunak larry hartsell roycie gracie, erik paulson, leo gaje and dan inosanto

  • 200374 do u study martial arts

  • Hi Christopher, yes - I have enjoyed martial arts since I was a teenager. I have actually met Ip Chun - gentleman and fantastic master.

  • i have been training in muay-thai filipino-kali and jeet kune do for 2 years now what do u train in

  • Currently, Shotokan and some full contact

  • cool how old is ip chun

  • I guess he's in his late 70's - it was about 7-8 years ago I met him

  • how come u dont train in wing chun do u live in manchester

  • Yes, I live in Manchester but find karate more suited to my build.

  • i live in little hulton, karate is good as well the 3 arts that i train in cover all the 4 ranges kicking, boxing, trapping, grappling and training with weapons in filipino increses your eye-hand coordination, hand speed, reflex and timing and every technique you do with the stick or knife you can do with empty hands but u use destructions(nerve, bone)

  • He is early 80's now. A gentleman, peace loving man and a very good master.

  • I cant think of anything to study than jeet kune do because it doesnt have belts which i think belts are stupid. Bruce lee didnt need a belt.

  • sheer quality
