  • the altamont is the coolest version ever of this tune. it fuckin' scares me outta my pants.

  • Sounds great man.

  • einfach hammer , wie du spielst!!!!!!

  • ROCK

  • YOU ROCKS

  • this is really good man!!!!!!!!!

  • You are far from the original. First, "detune" you guitar in the Stones style. Since the beginning, Richards hired someone with perfect pitch to "detune" his guitar the same way for all concerts.

You are not bad but you aren't Stones. Not even near.

  • Great tune - would also be interested in the chords/tab - great vid m8 soulful!

  • this sounds good, you should consider making a video tutorial teaching how to play this

  • grande i really the way you capture all the little licks , top shot man.

  • let it roll ...keith

  • Well done

  • Hey you know if Keith had a chorus in this great concert??? It's amazing!

  • man this is the coolest thing ever any chance you could post ...the chords for this and wha the hell youre doing. Id loe to learn it ???

  • thank you!!!!!!!!

  • excelent! you play it like me (well... like richards) must say that taylor part isn't hard to play i know it..

but, sory, the solo's from richards? don't know.. XD

  • is this openG?

  • no standard.

  • Cool! Thanks!

  • thank you very much!!!!!!!!

  • good job but u cant compare 2 keith....

    still good job

  • i like the sound

  • A MAJOR, AT 2ND FRET

  • I know how to play the song, but are you playing an A at 34 seconds? what exactly are you playing there?

  • Alamont.Remember

    DP forever.

  • nice man

  • It's all about feeling,not sure about

    the distortion bit though.

    You should try to play

    through a valve amp .

  • it's played with a valve amp, mesa boogie, but it's recorded with a mobile phone......

  • So what are the chords your playing? I would love to be able to make that sound. Great job again!

  • no, mate, no tabs, just istinct, but i play this songs since i was a little child, i am glad you like it, thank you very much

  • yeah i hope we'll play it together one day!!thanks

  • Sounds awesome. He also played it pretty much like that at this show I watched on here in 81, and theres a few others too. How did you learn to play it like that? Just the normal tabs?

  • Cool man. I like the Altmond version of Under My Thumb and you nailed pretty good.

I wish i could play it along with you..:-)

  • Hi,

    Sounds great!

I have to sing this song in december and I was wondering how much help you could give me.

I play acoustic best but I have a nice strat that I've been coming along with and if you could post a better video showing your left hand closer and not so dark it would be great.

I read tabs pretty good so please post it if you have it.

    Got to love the stones.

    Great Job!

  • thank you, i hope to find the time to do another video of the song, basically you gotta play the cords f#min,( at fret 9) E major ( at fret 7) D major ( at fret 5)in the verse

on chorus you gotta play a walking boogie( chuck berry's style) at fret 2 with the basically chords of A and D, then closing on B and go back with the verse.

solo is basically On F#min E and D positions.

  • Cool. I'll have a go at it with what you've said here. Sounds great - just like Alamont.

  • great!!congratulations!!

  • many thanks, i was tryng to do my dirty job...

  • I'm surprised to find someone else into the 69 Altamont version. Sounds about perfect to me, including the solo. Seems like Keith was playing great riffs on about every song in that period, including Sympathy and Satisfaction. I think I've got the basics of most of it expect one chord in the chorus.

  • hi, i'm glad you like my work on this song, thank you .

if you want to write me about the great stones this is my email:

    see ya
