  • the fucking red are geting smart we gotta watch our backs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sorry I stand corrected - it wasn't Northrop it was Grumman. ;-)

  • @liamriordan Yes - Northrop experimaented with this design on the F-5 aitframe (as the X-29). The inherant instability was what gave the aircraft it's lightning quick performance but required massive computing power to allow the pilot to maintain control.

  • @ascendead1 No they can't! Because they believe they are the best and anyone who doesn't agree them (Including Russia , Iran ,etc.) is terrorist! Don't expect them to be polite(of course lots of them are good guys)

  • "If it looks right, it'll fly right". An old saying that preceded fly by wire. I'm sure this a/c is technically very good, but it just doesn't look right.

  • su 47, su 37, su 35,su 33 russian.

    dassault rafale french.

    euro typhoon european.

    f 22 raptor,f 35 american.

    Now the world's best.

  • THE BEST !!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • If I had to choose between SU-47 and F-22 to fly for free I'd choose SU-47. Its just a beautiful machine.

  • @TheJCJexe Me - F-22 anyday.

  • Beautiful airplane.

  • Comment removed

  • How does the wing system work?

  • is it stealth?

  • @toreto5000 Иди на х*й ваш стелс нервно курит в сторонке!

  • wish they make a 1/48 and 1/32 plastic model of this

  • @ascendead1 Well stated!

  • russian design, is so ass backwards

  • Comment removed

  • @ToAstYNaChO

Yup, specially since the Su-47 was based on the Grumman X-29, a very AMERICAN aircraft. American design is so ass backwards too.

  • @ironian Based on...not copied, russians put their own very Different spin on everything, so do we, look at the M60, based on the MG-42, but looks and performs nothing like it

  • Damn! Do all Russian jet fighters do the cobra? Amazing!

  • @Tigadee00 In Soviet Russia, Cobra do jet fighters.

I had to post that ^^

  • The starting frames, I thought I got tricked and this was an RC video...then I saw the guy inside.

  • so sad it got cancelled, it looks way cooler than the PAK-FA, hopefully they decide to remake it.

  • China is the coveted Russia military technology. Available they should be! That way, China to develop more high-tech? Of these, outrun Russia no doubt. It's from China more than Russia at the same time absorbing Western technology.

  • @keiya1955 Funny,.

    i Chuckled tee hee.

    what movie did you see?

  • i played with this fighter in HWAX

  • Su-35BM - Russia: The 30 year old Su-27 airframe is still going strong with its great maneuverability, durability ,and adaptability. It also has great BVR capability but not on par with western designs like the F-22, Eurofighter, and Rafale. It has the largest RCS in this category making it highly visible to radars.

  • Another rip off of an American design. How long til we see a Russian Raptor design?

    No, I'm not American!

  • Never mind. I just saw the Sukhoi T50... Sigh...

  • @HarryMuffUk Imbeicle this is pure Russian airplane.... wtf is F22?? 100 million dollar shit can. There is nothing even remotely close to Su47 in US inventory. Plus MiG1.44 and Su47 were here lOOOOONG before F22 ever existed, so if anything F22 designers copied SU47 berkut.

  • @Ouija121085 Thanks for playing dipshit. Now go and Google Grumman X29 and check the date of the first flight... 1984! They got bored with it a long time ago but the Russians just can't stop copying American designs.

    Class dismissed!

  • @HarryMuffUk bahahahha ure a brit ahahah what has your country made in the past 50 years except a double decker bus? fuck you russian aero-space engineering is the world class everyone knows that even americans. While for your political propaganda bullshit go watch more hollywood movies maybe you come with some original comedy...

  • @HarryMuffUk and for x29 cowboys could not make it work thats why they ditched it was too complicated.... plus they couldnt even make a jump-jet on F35 which they bought plans from YAK141. So really everyone knows that russian fighter jets/bombers are best in the world.

  • @Ouija121085

You see, Americans played with that technology long long time ago. They realized something though, if the flight computer fails, the inherently unstable airplane will rip apart in air.

Secondly, who the fuck needs ever more maneuverable airplanes 50-60 years AFTER the WW II?????

Russian engineers are playing too many dog fight video games.

  • @napornik

Seeing as how the USA keeps starting wars, it is not a bad idea to be ready just in case.

    Idiot.

  • @napornik Ok you're exaggerating it a bit. It won't rip apart, would it? It'll just become hyper hard too fly maybe, which leads us to the next feature: The Ejectable Seat. Marvelous invention allowing you to go sightseeing with your parachute whilst 'your' multi-million dollar plane flies straight (or maybe not-so-straight with that unstable plane) into a mountain. Also, maneuverability does comes in handy while evading missiles, too. Not just in dog fights ;)

  • @napornik It doesn't rip apart because it's unstable, it falls out of the sky because it's unstabel. And they make important systems like that overly redundant in case something goes wrong.

  • @HarryMuffUk this prototype was from 1970's shit head. If it werent for captured nazis you would stil lbe flying byplanes so shut the fuck up. u Stole everythin of nazis.

  • me gusta el su 47 .....pero del que estoy fascinado es del su 35

  • An RAF TYHPOON would knock that toy out of the sky!!

  • the only poeple still fighting america vs russia is my grandpa. Were on opposite sides of the world and unless Russia tries to turn the middle east into west russia then i dont see a problem worth fighting over. Look at me my country has a cool airplane that i had no part in creating. Get 5 of each ready to go with remote controls to a fighter sim and have the world best pilots duke it out over the skies of Canada

  • RUSSIA is the best in world

  • su 47 was built as a raptor killer (f 22), this now makes it obsolete with the raptor;s demise.

  • @srtingfellow demise? hahahaha

  • Change the nose a little and you will have a Klingon "Bird of Prey" I like this plane. It looks cool!

  • What is to be the most stupid, immoral people in the world?

I mean I will bring you ... Americans

  • The average American couldn't give 2 shits about Russia...they probably couldn't even show it to you on a map. Not to mention they believe our American military is far superior by several decades to anyone else and want to dismantle it. Russia is a has been nation that is full thyroid cancer from Chernobyl and is a hodge podge of disorganized races. The average age of a man in Russia is 59 in America...76. How does it feel to know you will be dead before 60?

  • @cchanderson How does it feel to have nigger for president ?

  • @CrniGuja A wee bit better than having an ex-spook who is no longer president and wants to turn it back into a totalitarian form of government make all the decisions... ;-]

  • @cchanderson " Russia is a has been nation that is full thyroid cancer from Chernobyl " ??? Do you even know where Chernobyl is? What kind of ignorant comment is this anyway? Please tell me that you aren't one who thinks that the Soviet Union was Russia... What most Americans don't realize about Russia is that they are extremely tough and resilliant people and can withstand almost anything thrown at them. They are doing just fine by themselves. They need no one to survive just fine.

  • @Landotter1 yeah much of the contaminated area is indeed over Russian soil Turbo..its from the phenomena called wind.

  • @cchanderson No shit? So exactly what region is it that must cover such a vast area?

  • Flying coffin

  • Firefox ... LOOKS cool ... but would be easy prey for the Raptor.

  • @TonyN737 you don't know, really. no one does.

  • @SNUGGIPWNSLOL If one shows up on radar and the other one doesn't, then the outcome is predetermined.

  • @TonyN737 Yes it is, but how do you know? I hihgly doubt that neither the American or Russian government give out all the details regarding their respective militaries.

  • @SNUGGIPWNSLOL Because the shape of the plane doesn't deflect radar ... easy Raptor food.

  • what is the advantage with the switched directional wings?

  • @LiebeFurVolk Read the "forward-swept wing" Article @wiki. The planes are basically flying labs.

  • @LiebeFurVolk *Forward Swept Wings* are supposed to increase maneuverability. The Germans came up with the idea before WW2. The US tested the idea in the 80s with the X-29 but it never became an fighter. But we DID keep the idea of *Thrust Vectoring Nozzles* from the X-29, you can see a different version of them on the F-22. TVNs are better than FSWs (and also *Forward Wing Canards* (which reflect way too much radar).

  • I personally think that is the ugliest plane ever. But it is honestly a great piece of work, although it is very large in size.

  • I've seen quite a few videos of this aircraft, but I've never seen it do anything amazing. I know the forward swept wing concept in itself is an amazing feat, but this aircraft can do nothing more than most single engine aircraft. That's why it was so short lived. I think this aircraft was built for moral purposes more so than anything else. The composites used on the space shuttle were far more advanced the ones used on this aircraft. I just don't see the point. Nice to look at though.

  • I invented this wing modell when I was 6 years old. I assembled plastic aircraft models and cemented the wings backwards. My older brother called me an idiot. But was I really....?

  • @SirRetku in that case not...

  • @SirRetku - Well if you are talking about it on a youtube message board instead of some science journal.. you most probably are... :)

  • @SirRetku possibly, the Germans has SFW during WW2. Little known fact

  • @SirRetku no... your brother is an idiot. Berkut has superior handleing then any fighter in the world due to the inverted wings which allows it to manuver and cut thru the air more efficiently then conventional wing.

  • @SirRetku, .....really idiot! You didnt pattent it!

  • @SirRetku, .....really idiot! You didn't patten it!

  • @SirRetku yes

  • @SirRetku There's some instability in this type of wing

  • @Marcuzzorox Isn't that the point for extra agility? Kinda what the Euro typhoon was aiming for?

  • @LiamRiordan I don't know the answer for your question.

  • interesting equipment...

while so far it's a tech demonstrator only, i wonder if it well ever get operational and how good it will be.

as long as it doesn't go to the wrong hands, goodluck

  • Russians, you are the best, stop talking, show it baby, let me se what Americans have, fuck all, if there are not israelis to hel them , they will stll use pistol, John Wayn even now. Bravo Russians, I love you all

  • I love it, I want two of them. One for me and one for my co-worker just to make it to work on time and in style.

  • Can I get one of these for Christmas please? lol

  • fucking russian liars. they say this wing is unique and only russians have it now. while i have a book that's nearly 30 years old where it depicts an american plane with the same wing. russians are good for nothing.

  • это лучший самолет

  • SU-47 is one of the coolest looking planes to fly. Sadly it has all those stabilizers and odd shaped wings because it can barely stay in the air itself. Still looks cool when it fly's! @Aminodaff China can kick NATOs ass if America let it. Dont forget China just recently started publicly showing its stealth fighter over 10 years after America publicly showed it.

  • @MachetePanda *Finish this Sentence* ... Stealth Technology was invented by (Country).......

  • @massivesovietunion Germany did in WWII with the creation of the Ho IX V2. You could have just googled that. :p

  • @MachetePanda I don't think so .... Russia was the first country to come up with Stealth Techonology

  • @massivesovietunion before WWII? I think your in denial! :p

  • @MachetePanda noooooo .... I think you havn' t done ur research :P

  • @massivesovietunion I think thats what you want to think. Do your homework, knows your history and accept it, snap out of the denial.

  • @MachetePanda No ... That is WHAT YOU want to Think .... watch?v=VO6IlNoP1Ng&feature=related ....

  • Hot like fire...

  • Before I was filled with the perspective of both of the Communist and American side of both countries I have always like the Sukoih 47. But the F-22 Raptor is the best for now.

  • soooo sexy

  • Why hasn't this been mass produced yet? Did it fail?

  • @makemap it was a test plane but sukhoi is now thinking about selling it as a fully operational plane

  • @makemap

russia lacks of money.....but plane is perfect....

  • Too much Vodka for the Sukhoi design team when they put the wings on back to front?

  • @tetramoo So as Sham pin is for the design team of F-35, makers of the aircraft which would be least in cost & is now a white elephant for the U.S government..............

  • the guy who flies the su47 is the luckiest bastard in the world

  • @motorgame no the guys that fly for U.S.A.F are

  • cirk i tolka, v boyu nikokova tolka

  • spooky plane ... and deadly aircraft

i give thumb for this vid

  • It's my understanding that the design is actually inherently unstable, according to both pilots and engineers, and that the added maneuverability is offset by this. The only reason it's flyable is because of computer aided control, or as most of you probably already know, what is also known as "fly by wire". Of course I can't think of one modern jet that doesn't have that kind of system.

  • sexy as hell. raptor is child's game .

  • @stacryl You do realize that the raptor is faster, far more agile, and slightly less stealth... right? Not to mention it's payload is 30% larger and more fuel efficient. (when at same weight)

The raptor is in an entirely different class of aircraft. It can also be piloted remotely. This means the maneuvers it could use without a person inside would destroy a su 47.

  • @LuNaTeCh66 Pretty queer rely on remote control of Raptor while its systems showed critical failure each 2 hours of flight.

  • @LuNaTeCh66

raptor has never met su-47 berkut...so shut da fck up...

  • @Aminodaff And it never will.Raptor has stealth,su 47 does not.

  • Comment removed

  • @916fanatic1

the su47 does, do some research...

  • Sad thing this jet probably wont go into production.

  • I know as an American we are at odds with Russia, but as in chess you have to respect your adversary, and you can't get cocky lest you lose. Their aircraft are pretty awesome.

  • @Indy1489 I think they're more practical which is better than awesome, one of these days someone will make jammers good enough to make radar useless anyways to making aircraft stealthy by their physical design to me is pointless. Speed and mobility will be the future maybe not the near future but will be the future none the less.

  • That plane just screams "I'm a killer, and I look good while doing it!"

  • este ho zacat vyrabat....

  • @DaiwaYamato88 yep, agility. before thrust vectoring was invented, this was the clearest path to better maneuverability - problem is they're highly unstable, moreso if they sustain damage to the wing, and given its meant to be a combat plane, its generally passed over for a more combat capable design.

  • F-22 cld run show on it anyday

  • wth?!?!'

these wings are the strangest i have ever seen

  • @milanTHErocker the Germans were making planes with forward swept wings in the 40s

  • @MrCountrycuz rly? O.o

  • @milanTHErocker

it is a test plane.... definetely not ordinary plane...

  • @DaiwaYamato88 I think it helps in reducing power on high speeds - the plane is using less cerozine. But I cant be sure in that, I am not quite an avionics expert. :D

  • @DaiwaYamato88 yes :] makes for tighter turns and reduces drag, i think xD

  • Menacing looking. I'd love it.

  • the best looking fighter jet i have ever seen.. this ones my favorite!! would love to see it as a primary fighter .. it also looks unique too.. thumbs up and nice job russia! from a Canadian Sri Lankan!

  • This reminds me of the red crane when she comes down ever so gentle and graceful.

  • All made in Russia is bad..

  • It really has that "dont mess with me" look.

  • For me, Russian aircrafts are the best, and I believe they can do more.

  • @jospehporta well i agree wid u abt da 4ward swept wing tech.. nasa nd da nazis did try it out.. bt they cudn't mk it operational cos of stabilitty issues nd also cos of the shearing force prblms.. bt these russians did it,, as far as da steakth issue goes,, it indeed incorporates stealth.... it is built of composite materials meant to absorb nd deflect radar...

  • the su-47 'berkut' or golden eagle has been designed as a complete stealth plane... u can see that it does not have external hardpoints which suggests an internal weapons bay.. moreover, it is said that it also incorporates thrust vectoring technology and futuristic radar systems... if all these are true and if its radical forward swept wing design helps in superior maneuverability then.. maybe this is the Russian answer for the F-22 and the F-35 JSF....

  • @kairomama123 lol radical, NASA had a jet like this in the 1984, old tech and America did it first, well the Nazi's actually, but you get the point. Nothing stealth about it unless you think being painted black gives it stealth. Superior maneuverability doesn't do shit against advance AAM's, it'll be blown out of the sky as though it were standing still.

  • Russia makes nice planes but theyre equal to a F-15 or F-18..Also, Russia is still trying to play catch up to the U.S. in Avionics & stealth capabilities..

  • @opguy001 Probably Mig-29 is equal to those fighters today, but it's a 20 yr old jet. Today Russia has Mig-35 which can kill pretty much anything. :>

  • @opguy001 Maybe in american medias. In reality those planes flew over american carriers many times, on a huge surprice of american crew members.

  • @marcus10 No the Russians are currently well behind in Avionics and stealth technology, I could give you the prove but if you reply bring yours cause that will save me time.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics The "stealth tactics" is not everything in warfare. But if you think you have the proof - speak up.

  • @marcus10 no I never said "stealth tactics" I said "stealth technology" and "avionics" and so because they are a very important role to play both of these technology's like what happened in 1991 at the time the Iraq had the 4th largest army, had the most integrated areal defence system of the time, within 100 of the attack they lost there defence and capability to fight back in almost every way. now if that's not prove that stealth and "stealth tactics" work...

  • @TheMilitaryTactics Yes, but Russian airforce disconnected all "cells" of georgian airial defence which were made on NATO standards just few years ago.

  • @marcus10 yeah that is NATO standards not US standards or UK standards, also the SU-30MKI had equal ratio's to the F-15D (1:1) in red flag, and the Russians were saying that it was twice as better before that.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics Su30 were not used in conflict. Only 3 Su25 were shot down by so-called friendly fire.

  • @marcus10 Yes they were not but red flag is a routine training week for a simulated war in the USA India put money in one year and sent there people there to be trained in more detail.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics War simulation made by US army? And you take that for correct force value... Please, those things are made only for propaganda activities (for all those simulations which results were showed to public).

  • @marcus10 actually the Indians wanted to say the results not the US.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics It doesnt change the point - simulations which had only one manufacturer involved (US) cant be objective.

  • @marcus10 it was not just them the US it is based in the US, in fact it is US, UK, France, India, Germany, Turkey, and allot lot more that do use it and have an equal opinion on what is trained to the pilots at the different simulation's conducted to be as realistic of meeting enemy planes as can be.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics And all are NATO members exept India. What a coincidance...

  • @marcus10 well the list countrys that have gone are US, UK, France, Germany,Japan,Italy,Canada,Australia,South Korea,Spain,India,Brazil, Netherlands,Belgium,Sweden,Denmark,Norway,Portugal,Greece,New Zealand,Singapore,Chile,Israel,Turkey,Saudia Arabia,United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, and Pakistan. so yeah about half are in NATO and that isn't to surprising as it's a military treaty, and it's not like what comes out of Russia and China are going to be more neutral.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics I didnt said that what comes from Russia and China would be more neutral, it is same propaganda bulls**t. I spoked about events in reality which are only one which could be called on.

  • @marcus10 yes you have made a good point.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics Thats all I am saying. The point is - Russians really have really good planes. And that means really, really good ones.

  • @marcus10 Yeah we do have pretty good planes.

  • @TheMilitaryTactics Well of course, nobody cant deny that.

  • @marcus10 No one in there right mind anyhow though.

  • @marcus10

Chine can kick NATO's fat ass....

  • GO RUSSIA. THAT IS AN AWSOME PLANE. If oyu look on the design you can tell teh airodinamic technology put into the plane...russian style!!!!!

  • Guy being interviewed: va du come shres men i mya stluchi vas mors cu ya bra muschtichin.

    Right on brother!!!!

  • I prefer US aviation from the tech and battle proven performance, but the Russians make such sexy airplanes, and their powerplants have a very high rep amongst the aviation community for their raw power

  • fuck usa from alabnia

  • @T88Toni Albania StrOng !!!!!ooooo!!!!oo

  • "One of best Aircraft in the world, Right next to Su-37 and Mig-35" well thats where your wrong, what about the american f-22, or are you to ignorant to know about it?

  • @RacersMoment dude, shut the fuck up, i can already tell your so lost when it comes to anything.

  • @TheDoctorV2point0 you must be fucking stupid, the f-22 raptor can out maneuver the su-47 any day! proven fact dumb ass! next time do ur research before you run your fucking mouth

  • @RacersMoment stupid fuck, i obviously wasnt talking about that. i meant it as in, because they dont mention the f22, you call them ignorant. asshole.

  • @TheDoctorV2point0 it is ignorant to list other jets that arnt even as good as the f22, STUPID FUCK!

  • @RacersMoment su37 and mig 35 are very good planes, you simply think that because the f22 is better it makes them not worth a shit. they arent ignorant, by your standards they might as well go back and name off every fukin plane that was good for its time. which makes you a dumbass.

  • @RacersMoment also, f22 is not a russian plane. ignorant fuck.

  • @TheDoctorV2point0 ?!?!? im ignorant, im american, the f22 is american, your the ignorant fuck, im saying america is better!!!!

  • @RacersMoment holy shit you are retarded. first you call them ignorant for not naming an american plane, then you call me ignorant for calling you ignorant BECAUSE YOU ARE IGNORANT. get off the internet and read a fuking book.

  • all of you went on about the ak-47, i agree that is a good item, because it has few moving parts. A modern fighter aircraft, like a car has a lot of moving parts. If you can not get a simple car right during mass production do you really think you can get some hing as complex as a fighter right during mass production? No that is why Russian aircraft are near handmade, which makes maintenance and repair a nightmare. No interchangeability.

  • I bet it's like any other russian military piece of equipment: looks cool but is garbage in real combat

  • @normalais you ever been in a russian combat anything? most likley no, have you ever been in combat period my bet no. So how can you come up with that opinion?

he said she said shit? T.V or both? FYI Russian has not lost a War in Hundreds of years Ghangis Khan Mongolian hords ( almost but no) Napolian came close not close enough, The Turks Attomon empire Ran, WWI, Almost, WWII very close still beat there ass, Afgan we withdrew hopefully US will too so explain our shiity weaopns ienstien???
