  • If only Barbara George learned to sing "I Know."

  • Ahh, one of my all time favorites from the Spaniels, up there with Goodnight Sweetheart. I love the simplicity, yet effectiveness of the vocalist, I believe that is Pookie Hudson at vocals. Thanks for posting!

  • let me say that i like jazz i mean I realllllly like jazz, but I loooooooooove doo wop. long live you tube. I'm a late bloomer as far as you tube I thought it was a younster's site untill I could'nt find one of my fav records and my daughter told me to look on UTUBE and i'VE been here every day since.I enjoy the comments almost as much as the music . and by the way pookie was always my favorite and thank you for posting my fav tune by the spaniels

  • You're welcome...I'm glad you enjoyed this.

  • This is the best rap a mack man could put on a girl and it's still covers the deal. I used it, I Know.

  • When I heard this song while in high school many moons ago, it was the first time that I stated, Doo-Wop, the greatest sounding music to one's ear. Fifty years later, it's still the greatest sounding music to one's ear.

  • Ioxxd90, check out this piece by Jerry Butler's younger brother, Billy Butler...I found true Love... I think you'll like it.

  • I actually have it on cassette somewhere. ONe of my nieghbors had it and let me record it years ago. Great tune.

  • Before I found out about Youtube, I thought I was the only dude listening to this type of music. I guess it's like they say ioxxd90, this music will never die.

  • LOL, I did too. We had a DJ, "Mo Betta Man" who would come on an AM station and play these rare songs. He really blew me away because he played stuff that you hardly hear on oldies stations. They turned his show into a talk show. I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO annoyed.

  • Sorry ioxxd90, they are the songs from the Impressions Folklore album. They are song numbers 3 and 4. Let me know is song by Curtis Mayfield and Don't drive me away is song by Jerry Butler. That is a great album I had the CD,but someone stole it.

  • Yep I have that album & Cd. I'll post them for you. My album is very worn out. So excuse the pops & hisses.

  • What's up ioxxd90, was wondering if you could post "Don't Drive me Away" and "Let Me Know" I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • Are those Spaniel songs? I don't think I have heard those. I have many Spaniels 45's & 78's.

  • I love, love , love, this song! Much thanks for posting it!!

  • You're welcome!!!!!!!!!

  • I heard this was actually done by the Imperials but with Pookie Hudson singing the lead. Is there any truth to that?

  • I heard the same thing..

  • The Imperials are singing on I Know, I Know which is actually an entirely different song than this. Check out that song if you haven't heard it before.. It's a BEAUTY!

  • What else do you have ioxxd90. I know that the impressions have an old album out called your precious love folklore.. Do you have that one, it has some rare music from both Jerry Butler and Curtis Mayfield. Let me know something.

  • I have posted a couple of songs from that album "For Your Precious Love" "Senorita, I Love You" & "Long Time Ago"......look at my channel

  • ioxxd90, who sings the other "I know" song....I know that you were made for me. I think that's how it goes.

  • I think you're talking about Pookie Hudsons "I Know, I Know"

  • ioxxd90, thanks Bro. Keep playing the music my man, never let it die. Thanks Again.

  • You're welcome!!!!
