I have a 2.2 huawei ascend from metro and I upgraded it from the metro app store. Rooting it just slowed down my phone when it was 2.1 Soo its better to just upgrade

hey umm when i hit perm root it says in order for this to work, USB debugging must be enabled the settings page will open when u press ok. Please enable USB debugging, then retry i did that and then i try it again and same thing pops up? wtf do i do???
