@Trilyus are you kidding that is the battle they had with Haku goes from episode 13 to well to the part where Sasuke falls saving Naruto also when he awakens his sharingan and Naruto gets upset and first release the kyuubi is episodes 15 and 16 but the story goes on until episode 19

eh...I disagree. It's about Naruto and Sasuke's bond, and bringing Sasuke back. If it was about Naruto becoming Hokage, he would put that dream before Sasuke. Naruto put Sasuke before his life-long dream of being Hokage by saying he wouldn't become Hokage until he saved Sasuke...well I guess the bigger picture could be seen as the series being about Naruto becoming Hokage, but I really think it's about Naruto and Sasuke.

The series in my opinion is all about friendship. In the beginning Naruto had no-one, and as the series progresses he gains bonds with people, and finally learns what it means to truly care about someone. He becomes strong not to become Hokage, but to protect his friends. Because really they are the same thing. Naruto loves the village like he loves his friends.
