  • Beautiful. I love this song. It is one of my Favorites.

  • WOW thats all I can say WOW....lead is awesome too

  • I am looking for a song by Rev Cleveland called "We Are Sharing" is there anyone who has been Blessed to be the owner of this song?

And if so could you please share? It is a song that helps our brother and sisters in Christ to continue to move forward toward the " PRIZE" on our travel to the Kingdom of God. Through Jesus Christ

  • I love the music of Reverend James Cleveland.

Is there anyone who can maybe help out with finding a some that he made in the late 70's early 80's "We Are Sharing" that song is so powerful and speaks of helping each other on this earthly journey working our way to Heaven. I would really appreciate hearing it. I have looked and asked everywhere to no avail. Thank you in advance!!!!!!!

  • I think you could ask Sidney Harris, Reverend James Cleveland's son who is now the sound man for Faithful Central Bible Church if he has that one on tape. I don't think Reverend Cleveland recorded it with any of the choirs. I really love that song too. I also know

  • wonderful song and choir - peace!

  • This is a wonderful video and I enjoyed it very much. I am from the northlake side of N.O. and we had much destruction also. The work done for the benefit on this concert was admirable and the group was superb. The deep voice of this lady is splendid.

  • FUNNY that black church people cut one another down the same way white church people do. I learned this by playing and singing in 33 black churches in south Louisiana and Mississippi. With the internet, now everyone knows it. I expected more.

  • I'm not understanding what you are saying.

  • I've been listening to a lot of black gospel today. It distresses me how nasty comments are made about those singing. As a white gospel singer and musician, I didn't expect to find black men and women in the church cutting each other down so badly like we were. Since they were the greatest gospel singers and many of us wanted to be like them, I thought they had a deeper love for God than some of us. The whole world sees them agruing here. It just hurts me. I guess people really are the same.

  • I'm a black musician who plays organ and piano at a black baptist church. I can say I've seen and caught more hell there over the years. It's not a race thing. It's a people trying to work out their issues thing. At least we don't have to save the world on the cross. Some people would not make it lol.

  • @SP567 People are people, no matter what the color. We are all striving to be better, of course, if we understand the need. Keep in mind that the church is a place for us to learn and grow. As we do, we become better, more loving, more caring, and more like Jesus. And it is an amazing process that happens over time. We can be thankful for the churches that we have which help us understand that we can be better. Each day is one in which we can grow and be better.

  • Awesome/Awesome/Awesome!

  • Is this on cd? If so, where can one purchase it. I need to hear this particular rendition everyday. Thanx for posting! Peace and many Blessings to all of you this New Year!

  • I really needed this tonight. Thanks for posting the video, and may the Lord bless you and all who hear it with His peace.

  • I love this video, that girl sung that song.....great job choir

  • couldn't have said it better

  • Okay, I'm not sure where your director is from but apparently he/she doesn't know black people generate a lot of heat and to wear a PLASTIC poncho to make a statement is just beyond reason, to me. I'm sure even the individuals from N.O. who may see this didn't understand the concept. Perhaps taking the same money to purchase, notloud yellow ponchos, cut could have been used for school/church/work clothes...hmmm now that's a concept. They did a good job with the song.

  • The concept was very good seeing that it was for Hurricane Katrina Survivors. We raised about $9,000 that night. Yes it was hot, but everything still was alright.

  • That is a nice sum of money. I hope it ALL went to the people who needed it. Still in MY opinion the rain coats were not necessary. Its all to the glory of God.

  • How are you gonna say that they aren't necessary? It wasn't YOUR vision. The whole concept was good. I explained everything and how the concept was LOVE, JOY and PEACE after the STORM. If you saw the entire concert, you would understand.

  • Enough all ready. Its not a debate. If U want to win ok u win. I hope all the money reached the appropriate people. Amen & The End

  • I think u are pretty ignorant to the fact of what the person is saying did u contribute anyway possible to help the victims. Don't judge nothing especially if u ain't doing nothing!!! Not trying to be rude but the truth is the truth as black people we down each other too much as is!!!!

  • It seems the truth hurts. No it is not a debate but you are the loser who have no respect for your own race and is willing to put it out for all the world to see. My concept and message is Please don't think all blacks are mentally impaired as sistabright

  • I really doubt if she would have understood even then. But it was a great concept and wonderful message. Keep it going. U Go girl

  • part 2-The sistah did a wonderful job. You should rethink your name because youcan't come close to being a sistah and you have shown that you are not very bright. If you were instead of finding negative even insinuating that$ will not be used properly. May it is you who need to understand concept

  • Your comments are embrassing to all blacks. "Blacks generate heat", "Blacks are to ignorant to understand concept" stereotyping I would expect from the other race. The message was loud and clear and done well by a group of artist that God made to deliver his message

  • i wanted to ask the same question of what they are wearing those plastic rain coats....must be hot...but mother can sang1

  • She does a wonderful Job leading and the choir works it!

  • Why are they wearing rain coats?

  • Well this year my choir director, who is an AWESOME visionaire, got the concept that the 2005 Christmas Concert would be for hurricane Katrina Survivors. The title of the concert was called "Love, Peace and Joy After The Storm" So they are wearing rain ponchos. The ponchos are significant, because when we sang Kirk Franklin's "Brighter Day" for the finale, the choir ripped the panchos off because the STORM was over and it was a brighter day!!

  • Your choir did an excellent job but there are some who have no knowledge of concepts or the arts. Perhaps sistah would benefit from a little culture awareness. I teach this to whites it is called "cultural sensitivity" but maybe she will be the first black to gain knowledge

  • It doesn't matter who sings solo or what choir sings the chorus, this song will always be my one of my favorites.

  • Why do they have on plastic rain coasts?

  • I enjoyed it immensely. It brought back memories of James Cleveland singing it.

  • yeyas Lawd.

  • This choir is awesome.

  • what shiloh is this?

  • This is the Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ!

  • thanks. wonderful choir!

  • Wonderful performance. Done very stylistically appropriate; all excetpt for the organist. Just way to busy; I can see some improvisation, but not all through the piece. Just not stylistically appropriate. This woman of God is a wonderful singer. Holy Ghost filled. Sounds like Rev. Cleveland a little bit. Wonderful!

  • Thank Ya! In reference to the organ, he was just accenting what she was saying!!

  • wonderful! And his improv was done tastefully. Sounds like a wonderful player. Just think it was a bit overdone. thanks 4 replying!

  • Wonderful! That sista can sing! And kudos to the entire choir!

Thank you for posting this song.

  • I've watched this several times since the wee hours, when I was blessed unexpectantly by this beautiful and soul felt song! I have a tear in my eye and a tug in my heart, and a yearning to return to my Lord. You have watered the seed that was planted long ago, but choked out by the cares of this world. Pray for me. Thank you!

  • Simply Awsome!!!! It is not that easy to find "old" (not in a negative way)and new souls singing good like the olden days in this day and age and can still make the hairs stand up on your head! Mission accomplished!

    And she BETTA WORK THAT OUT! {{applause}}

  • Thank you for sharing this with us, I've watched it quite a few times! This song is what made me (and many others) James Cleveland fans for life. I've listened to his recording a million times and can still get happy with the people on the CD when they go from shouting "THEY ALL" to whispering "shall sweetly"... If ANYONE has James Cleveland videos to put up on YouTube they SHOULD! I'd also like to see Jesus Is The Best Thing That Ever Happened.

  • Now that's MY song, "Jesus is the Best Thing that Ever Happened." I would love to hear this choir sing that one too. What fond memories they are bringing through their ministry.

  • MY MY MY MY MY MY MY MY MY MY MY MY

  • this is my song!!!! even tho ima youngin, 26, i love james cleveland's gospel music. this contralto did good too!!!!

  • I'M TELLING MY GRANDMA!! My grandma was (still is actually) in Southern California Community choir which was founded by the late Rev. James Cleveland. They used to always sing this song all the time in honor of his memory.
