China would definitely destroy the UK but I don't think Russia has the economic strength nor a stable enough infrastructure to take on the UK for a long period of time. And it would be a long time, a lot longer than a week due to the fact that the Russian military would find it pretty difficult to deploy its forces on a small island whereas the UK would have a much easier time on a country as massive as Russia

I think Military power should also be calculated on the determination of soldiers to fight for the ideas of the society they are defending, that is why I think an oppressive and Communist North Korea shouldn't even be on the list, their military would collapse in no time as conscripts who are aware of how oppressed they are at home compared to S Korea would use their deployment as a chance to desert/defect to the opposition. The same goes for the Chinese to a lesser extent.

When the U.S. left Iraq the violence had greatly subsided and the Iraqi government was in control of the country. When the violence was at its peak in Iraq, (2004-2007) the U.S. stayed and toughed it out, and didn't leave for good until the violence had gone drastically down. What did Russia do at the height of hostilities in Chechnya.....?

Maybe now the people of Chechnya are loyal but only because Russia had to come back three years later and try to take control for a second time. And the only reason they were able to do so was because Russia practically destroyed every building in Grozny. And take a look at the losses Russia lost some estimates say 14,000 dead or more. The U.S. lost less then half that amount, and we fought 2 wars much further away.
