I don't think the new series is terrible, only... 12 eps into Metal Fusion so far. But besides the fact that every antagonist has an obnoxious voice that I can't stand, the new series is missing good music like the tracks from the original beyblade to play during the fights :/ they just feel... emptier without the bg music. like the ep that I just watched with Gingka vs. Ryuga for the first time, totally could have/should have had "I'm not going down" playing XD

I would correct you on Yuu's name but you said Metal Fusion not Metal Fight. So, there is no reason to correct it. Considering that the dubs always mess up on their names. He isn't exactly like Daichi. Personally I think Masamune is better than Daichi. I mean he doesn't always try to beat Ginga like Daichi always tries to beat Tyson. Masamune's goal of becoming number one is because he was inspired by his best friend who was put in a hospital.
