I tried to play Pro Keys but HOW THE FUCK AM I GOING TO PLAY WHEN HALF AREN'T EVEN ON THE FUCKING SCREEN?! I mean I Could play expert but I want them ALL on the screen at once! I get really fucking confused when the end is int he middle. Makes no fucking sense. Is there an option to change this?!

Do you mean when the end of each piano-riff in Rhapsody ends with keys in the middle instead of an octave higher? There are very few of these solutions throughout the game, Rhapsody being one of the most noticeable ones. Overall the octave distortion isn't a big problem. What confuses me is that later in the same song the same notes AREN'T lowered an octave. For some reason they only move the track to the right some times. (Source: I have all 313 downloadable Pro Key songs)

As someone who painstakingly charted this song by ear alone as a boy, and learned to play the entire piece on my own piano, I was very disappointed by the chart they chose to go with. I realize you can only do so much with a small keyboard like that, but I really thought they would at least give a two handed version. Anyway, nice video.

@bloodl3tt3r Maybe a little, you have a good feel of the layout of keys, and chords. But reading it this way is vastly different from sheet music, so that will need some getting used to. Or you can try to remember it.

why do they have pro instruments for drumsand vocals and the keyboard because they are pretty much like the actuall instrument. yeah it's awesome that they have it but that means you have to relearn everything about playing the instruments. for example they keyboard VS guitar. the GH guitar doesn't have 20 frets vs 5 on GH like a regular guitar, that means that it has to squese in to reach the high noteswhile the keyboard has 16 or somtin keys and they can't squeese to fit in. like if you agree.

@Rachman1337 I am a professional pianist, and there are a couple of issues with your theory. Number one, reading notes scrolling at you is a lot different than reading music. Number two, the keyboard on the screen shifts around, making it easy to become disoriented and lose your place on the keyboard. I haven't played pro keys yet (a keyboard is in the mail -- should arrive next week), but I do intend to jump right into expert pro keys.

@tonibcnn Well the problem with putting songs on-disc is that Harmonix needs to make songs with a natural and constrained difficulty progression. They could make it harder easily, that's probably true of a lot of songs, but they had other goals in mind.

@SoundDefenseRB I kind of agree with tonibcnn there. I know this song on the real piano, and I tried Pro Keys the day it came out, and I failed due to the simplicity of the chords. Still, pretty fun blowing your friends' minds after a few practice rounds.
