  • @CoupeGrace The truck drivers were from Ontario...

  • Truck drivers have been doubling up at the wreckhouse for years whenever they got caught out in the wind,it ain't nothing new.I never heard tell of anybody getting run over.I wish people would STOP making a big deal out of everything and running of to the bloody media .When trucks are caught in the wind it is a very dangerous situation for the driver if the truck blows over ,so they double up and move along at a snails pace. They know what their doing just let them do there jobs.

  • If they were on that road in those winds they obviously didn't know what they were doing! :)

  • She was told what was on the go so what in the fuck is the bitch complaining about.

  • Why no police with flashing lights leading the way?UNBELIEVABLE!!!

  • I believe they should still be charged no matter who told them to go thru. There is signs when leaving PAB and in the South Branch area. They should have stopped in Doyles like the rest of the transport trucks! and you have no idea how scary it is until it happens to you.

  • I can see them goin 3 wide if their tryin to get the heck out of Port aux Basques!!!!!!! 2 ways to stop this kind of thing from happening, first install lighted signs to warn of high winds and close the highway in windy conditions. Second suggestion, move the ferry service from PAB to Corner Brook, its closer for everyone on the island, its a much bigger center, there's not much wind, the highways are way better and finally its not a DIVE like PAB !!!!!
