Amen Brother, 90% of the Church is asleep, our men have become effeminate. A great evil has taken control of the earth and it seems to me that our people think that the Gadianton Robbers was just a story in The Book of Mormon and can't possibly happen in our day now, these brethren need to listen to David O. McCay and Ezra Taft Benson and Joseph F. Smith or would they condemn their words now as the members did in the 60s?
Your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief & because you have treated dlightly the things you have received—Which vanity & unbelief have brought the whole church under condemnation. & this condemnation resteth upon the children of Zion, even all. & they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent & remember the new acovenant even the Book of Mormon & the former commandments which I have given them, not only to say, but to do according to that which I have written.
Those are the words in D&C 84:54-57. The Lord further warns us - in the following scriptures - that He will NOT bring us into the land of Zion until we are OUT from under His "condemnation".
Most of the Church, nevertheless, takes direction from CNN, Fox News & MSNBC - while getting upset over manufactured marginal issues (like a celebrity in jail) - & whisper to themselves: "All is well in zion; yea, zion prospereth - all is well". As the modern-day Gadiantons plot their murder & slavery!
I believe Ezra Taft Benson's words. I just pray more get involved.
