The only Uranium I know of being shipped was shipped out of germany to Japan. That was intercepted by the US. I remember watching this series when it first came out. My friend started crying pretty hard when he had seen this part. Both his grandparents were in the death camps. I can't imagine how it must have been to have lived through that.. But this is why whenever some "leader" starts talking a bunch of "crazy" talk they must be stopped immediately before they act on the evil they have within them. Have to take those people seriously, because they are certainly serious about what they want.
I noticed how they locked them in the camp to monitor their food intake. The Red army didn't do that and let the prisoners eat themselves to death. no hard feelings towards them, but some thinking before eating would have saved more lives.

However, Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban did bombed the World Trade Center and there are still cells here in America so I think instead of us continuing in Iraq, we should go to Afghanastan and hunt Bin Laden and kill him then continue to beef up security here in the U.S. and hunt down the terrorist cells.

I love reading Americans arguing about Holocaust and WW2, read some books first ppl (i recommend norman davies), then write a comment. Anyway, the BoB serie is my second favourite after 'The Downfall' movie and Pianist ofc. I was really suprised when i realised this is not some kind of shit like 'Pearl Harbor' movie. The only Uranium I know of being shipped was shipped out of germany to Japan. That was intercepted by the US. Germany had the companents and ability to make the bomb, just didnt believe it would be worth while... imagine if they had gotten it first.

I remember watching this series when it first came out. My friend started crying pretty hard when he had seen this part. Both his grandparents were in the death camps. I can't imagine how it must have been to have lived through that.. But this is why whenever some "leader" starts talking a bunch of "crazy" talk they must be stopped immediately before they act on the evil they have within them. Have to take those people seriously, because they are certainly serious about what they want.

I noticed how they locked them in the camp to monitor their food intake. The Red army didn't do that and let the prisoners eat themselves to death. no hard feelings towards them, but some thinking before eating would have saved more lives.

They locked them back up because they wanted to know just how many people there was inside, and they didn't want them wandering away into the countryside, and dying there. If they kept them in one place it would be easier to get attention to as many of them as possible.
I found this more shocking than Schindler's List, probably because of the swing of emotions in this episode.
Really really powerful series. I loved it.

I am not sure that Sadam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction and if he didn't we should not have gone into Iraq. However, Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban did bombed the World Trade Center and there are still cells here in America so I think instead of us continuing in Iraq, we should go to Afghanastan and hunt Bin Laden and kill him then continue to beef up security here in the U.S. and hunt down the terrorist cells.
