  • 'baby doll' was delivered perfectly. but the rest of the solo is way too high pitched and you cant understand it. the seven girls should be toned down completely in the scene because its just too loud and busy and messy. the choreograph needs a rocket up its ass because the girls look like theyre doing twinkle twinkle little star at the end of the song when they come out. your seymour is adorable though. AND MORE SOPRANO VOICES MY GOD

  • they look like they are doing twinkle twinkle little star for crying out loud

  • those girls are fucking annoying, they shouldnt be talking the whole time like that

  • We did this music for my school last school year! it was really really fun! I was Mr. Mushnik! it was really really fun to do the play with our cast!

  • I love when Mrs. Luce says "baby doll". hahaha

  • THANK YOU for having Mrs. Luce, Bernstein, and Skip be the same people. My school is doing this show now and I'm Orin, Bernstein, Luce, Skip, and Martin, and I am so annoyed that I can't find any versions on youtube that do all three like that.

  • lmfao

  • I'm Mrs. Luce in my school version :)

    This was great :)

  • all the chicks are disgusting

  • love the old school hip hop beat. neat touch!

  • very good! but why a septet instead of a trio? you've lost that '60s girl group vibe.

who are they now, the pussycat dolls?

  • We decided to put two girls on each part so they could help each other with singing. I don't think we had good enough singers for it to work as a trio, but it sounded fine with the six of them.

The loss of the '60's feel was just a drawback that we couldn't avoid if we wanted our girls to be able to perform their parts.

  • oh, wasn't the 7th girl singing? looks like she was.

    the harmony was great though.

  • @etraig are you for real? the harmony was very alto heavy. if the singing wasnt of a high standard in auditions, at least the range could have been considered a little bit. harmonies were poor

  • @emmalemmalemon yes, perhaps it was alto heavy, but at least they did harmony, even if it didn't have the same balance as a cast album. i once saw a school do it with all three girls singing the melody, that was a total cop-out.

  • haha were doing this show at my school now! im in the chorus. but ahh this is the song i hate most. its giving us trouble. haha

    :D

  • that seymour... ooh baby

  • Thomas you were amazing in this scene!!

  • This scene has always been a major contender for my favorite scene of the play! Thomas, I love you for changing so quickly!

  • The guy playing Skip Snip and Mrs. Luce and Mr. Bernstein is incredible!

  • Yeah there are three people in the back changing him during the quick changes. It's pretty busy.

  • thomas.... yes. so right
