The biggest team in Uruguayan football is NACIONAL. The 1971 team won the following 4 local championships 1969-72 a record 16 games without loosing to the fourth best team in Uruguay PENEROL. South American and world club champions , also Inter-american champions( against the champions of concacaf).The mateocarbonero is full of shit. You´re wrong. JC Morales was a fine player. He was never before and never again involved in such unfortunate situations.

He destroyed the very hopefull career of Tomaras. His taklin was murderous

And that´s a pity. But you´re judging a long and fruitful career on a single unfortunate event. This JC Morales had been an asset in uruguayan´s 4th place in Mexico ´70. He then played in europe all along the seventies and landed back in Nacional as a veteran in 1980 to win again both Libertadores and Intercontinental cups. I remember him from this second period in uruguay as a paused, brainy and very fair player.
